Panzer Dragoon: Remake

you're in for six levels (technically seven, but one of those is just a boss fight the previous level didn't have, so really six) of atmospheric, visually stunning arcade shooting, followed by several months to a year of complete radio silence until you get bored and decide to pick it up again. do not buy at full price. free tip: the shoot ratio refers to how many enemies you shot down, the game does not care how accurate you are.

Never played the original but saw it a lot as a kid. It really feels liek a concept game, an arcade game on a console. The music is nice, the gameplay is really cool, even though now we could have both joystick used for moving and aiming. The graphics are colorful, enemies have a distincful design. Now on the bad side, the story is just blend, I had one moment where I cared for the characters, the rest is just going along with the stages of going "pew pew". It's a good game for 10ish USD, if the original caught your eyes but you were never able to play it

If you like rail shooters like Star Fox or Sin and Punishment then you would likely find something to like here. I never played the original release and this one has some wierd bugs in the cut scenes but overall a fun experience.

Quite simply, I have no more than to thank you. There are very few fans left of this franchise. Reliving her meant a lot to me. It's so much nostalgia. The game is completely the same, but improved. Unmissable for hard-core fans of the saga.

I really enjoyed this game, it was simple but the enviroments were cool, it ran well and the core shooting was pretty good. Just I don't think there's enough replayability. This game costs $25 yet after an hour and a half I had basically done everything in the game that I wanted to do. Some sort of highscore mode or something would make it a lot more worth it to come back to, or even just more random achievements that were harder to get. I'd say get it on sale, but don't expect a long game at all.
