Description
No Man's Sky: Breach update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

So bad, even with low expectations

I had pretty low expectations for this game, but it's just horrible in about every aspect. While the planets look indeed quite different at first glance, you have the feeling you've seen everything after a dozen or so. The numerous structures you find all over each planet, have almost no differences which completely ruins the immersion of exploring the unknown. The UI is annoying, with delays by design for each simple click. Inventory management is made inconvenient by purpose. Flight controls are some kind of "half on rails" when flying over the planet, it doesn't even give full control, e.g. you pitch down the nose and still can't go lower. Graphics are beyond ridiculous, as numerously reported all over the net. Strange FOV, texture bugs, bad FPS with high end graphics card. Planet textures from distance look pretty bad, warp animation looks horrible. There are not even simplest quests, instead you need to recharge your suit every few minutes which feels just annoying too after an hour of playtime. I thought this could be an Elite:Dangerous killer, but you aren't even half as immersed when it comes to feeling being in a big galaxy. Trading, combat, progress, factions, everything is so much worse. The procedural planets were a promising approach, unfortunately the game around it is of the quality of a Unity3D tutorial game. It's a nice tech demo (once the graphics issues get fixed at least) that can be fun for a few hours, but gets super boring quite fast. Price should be around 10-20 bucks at maximum.

Exactly what I expected

I followed the game since it was first announced. All my expectations turned out to be true - regarding both the game strengths and weaknesses. The game is a repetitive grind-fest with limited variety. The mechanics are bare-bones. There are occasional FPS drops, and overall performance issues (nothing game-breaking though) However it is very pretty, relaxing, and the lore is intriguing enough for me to actually read those little tales hidden in monoliths and ruins. It's a very relaxing experience for me, kinda like fishing to others. I've clocked 90h so far, visited a couple of star systems, because I take my sweet time exploring every planet. And I enjoy doing it. I will probably play this game until Star Citizen releases.

Not bad but it could be better :P

For me No Man's Sky is a little disappointment. Why? I don't know. Maybe the hype was too strong while i was waiting for this game for 2 years. Maybe i was expecting something more polished because i know the not so big developers need to push epic AAA games to survive (shout out to CDP Red) . But i shall stop whining and try to review it honestly. Graphics are fine. I can play it on ultra on my GTX 780. Optimization is a bit on the sour side but i can handle it. Music is awesome. UI is ofc optimized for consoles but it doesn't hurt much (although at firs i didn't know how to use menu - didn't think about long press). And finally gameplay. I'm not completely sure what is my goal. Race to the center of universe? Explore every planet to the 100% (and completing planet is a pretty hard task if you ask me) ? Find another players? (joke ocf). I tend to like the "boring" games and i kinda like the No Man's Sky. It's a perfect (well maybe perfect - FM6 is my nr. 1!) game to chill out, listen to a good podcast or even watch something not absorbing on netflix while playing. I give it strong 4/5 P.S. The price. I have only one positive thing to say. The bonus from paying +/- 230zł for NMS was sufficient enough to buy my self a Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe. END //GeminIMDZ

Medium start, but finally good!

Started as an okay-ish game. But now, it totally changed and is actually fun!

Could have been a great game

Honestly, this game could have been great... but it's a mess. Riddled with bugs, the codex/info panel is weak so you end up needing to search the wikis... too bad they are no up to date. Most of the times you end up trying to figure out if something is happening because you screwed up, because it should be like that or because it is broken...
