Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.
In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.
Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).
And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.
Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).
An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.
At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.
Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.
Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.
Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.
The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

Great game
I have 70+ hrs in this game and the constant updates are all great and the community expeditions are fun. early on it is painfully slow but all that does is give a more rewarding feeling when you finally upgrade or buy a starship. there are so many things to do and there are so many places to visit. Hello Games recently added a LIVING STARSHIP that you can use like any other and has its own questline. the multiplayer hub or "space anomaly" was down for a while but its up and running now. worth 60 dollars great game!

Better than I thought
What should I say about the (maybe) biggest letdown of a game in history... 1. I was hyped like all other but did not preorderd it. 2. Compared to the release version this game today is 10000.......% better 3. Compared to the trailers and other informations it is still missing some things 4. I dont know why, but I want to play this grind, its not like I have fun... But its not bad either 5. The game has some missing comfort features, or design decision I do not like I tried the VR Version with Steam Index for 3-4h and it looked great, but the controls where a nightmare, particularly the grab behind the shoulder for the visor or the laser which worked for 5% of the tries. And then the controll of the spacecraft... its hell I strongly prefer to play this game with mouse and keybord For 60€ ? No, but for 30€ ?... Its worth the try

Don't look at my few hours here
I have bought NMS early 2016 when I got my PS4 Pro. I loved the game immediately and have played it a lot (until ED was released for the PS4). Late last year I started to play again and I have to say that the changes to NMS have been massive and mostly for the best. On the PS4 after ~450 hours I have almost everything I want and want to start anew (also because I will ditch my PS+ soon). The PC version is a good alternative, even more so because there are a couple of very good mods availalble I'd love to use.
