Love this game
I basically cut Steam out entirely, so I ended up having to start from scratch on my new computer. This is the only game I've played so far where I lost hundreds of hours of gametime and was able to come back without any stress or issues. The fact that the developers keep releasing new updates almost ten years after the fact is so crazy, but I love it. If you're a fan of open world games then get this one, it'll keep you occupied for a long time.

Incredible game
I'll date myself a touch then zoom out. This game reminds me in a good way of games i used to play in the 90's but of course way more modern. This is high praise. There was a sense of wonder those games used to bring that this game captures for me. Privateer, wing commander. You'd build something, make it your own. You could travel really have an experience resembling privateer. Adding a closed multiplayer fills in some of the gaps for what i wish next. I can play with my daughter, and have a great time. This game is for me pretty special. This game is great. Id' say it 's like a space sim. Think of your self as a builder. If that's what you are after you'll be happy. For me i want everything this game provides. What I wish : I also want some of that witcher 3/cyberpunk narrative. Imagine if the planets had culture deeper side missions. My hope is one day this studio will open the game up and allow extensive modding. Wouldn't it be cool to make a game like this with elements of Skyrim where the community can pick up the game and take it forward. Something like open source. Ultimately I think this is what we need. Hook it up to an LLM and you can give the NPCs some real depth. I think for some of these grand games that's the way to make them scale. A developer like this controls the platform, but opens up more of the game to the community think linux kernel vs user space. We need to expand the scope though of what can happen for modding from the beginning. Still giving this 5 stars because I'm having a blast. I just want people to know it's not a narrative game. It's an exploration -sim - builder game, i think it's probably most fun shared though like if you have a friend, partner, or child it 's great. You build the story together. Even a few people.

They keep adding more and more features. They have made up for launch long ago, so to support the studio I bought the game on PC after many hours on console

Poor performance
Very poor performance, even on low settings with a i7, 390x @ 1080P. it have frame drops and stutters all the time.
