No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

No Man's Sky

I am playing this on both the PS4 and a Toshiba Laptop with a 2gb AMD Graphics card with a 2.6 GHz i7 Quad Core Processor. I like this game. It relaxes me after a rough day at work. I love exploring the worlds, adding more credits in my account and trying to upgrade my ship, suit, and Multi-Tool. I have learned tons of words from the Warrior Race, and am learning them on the Gek Race. I first selected no Atlus Path, but have finally been contacted by them. They are bugging me to get back in space, but I found a Money Planet (Cheddar Planet) and am trying to get more money to upgrade to a bigger ship since I now have the blue prints to all 4 hyper drives. I still don't have an Atlus Pass to get the cool stuff yet. This game is definitely not for everyone. Every one that complains about the game being the same thing over and over again, I ask ''You Mean like Counter Strike? or any other Multi-player FPS with the same maps over and over again?" I have sunk at lest 150 plus house into the game and still think it's great. It's my cup of tea, and can't wait till they expand it even more.

Technical: After the second round of updates, NMS became more playable. My Windows 10 / GTX980 provide a solid 60+ FPS. Gameplay: It's *beautiful*. Light and colour use and effects are unrelentingly flamboyant, and the worlds you'll find are stunning. I've been playing for many hours, and I'm still too scared to travel too deep into the oceans in case I meet a big predator. I've made mistakes when diving where I've not brought enough materials to recharge my breathing kit, and the fear of drowning in a dimly lit underwater cave is all too palpable. The story is revealed slowly, and in small snippets. I think it's nice. You're really free to do what you like; you can spend your entire time on a single planet, if you so choose. Some elements could be improved. Some find the game elements shallow and frustrating; I can understand this. But for me - well, I'm still playing it after a few weeks, albeit a little less often now. I do think the price is too high. Overall: This isn't a five star game. It's a 3- or 4- star game. The beauty of the worlds raises it, in my view, to 4 stars :-)

Great game that doesn't get boring

I've been playing this game for few days now and I have to say it's much better than expected. Even with the missing content, that may come later, it's a great experience overall. You can always find something interesting to do, chill and explore new places while sticking to a main story objective. I believe lots of the negative reviews are unwarranted and based mostly on devs overpromising and underdelivering on those overhyped promises. It's common knowledge negativity just like enthusiasm can be contagious.

A Disaster

I tried to enjoy No Man's Sky, I really did. I played until I realised that there was no genuine variation between the planets, then I realised that there was no chance of getting a refund so I tried to grind resources and upgrades and enjoy that but it was impossible. I gave up long before reaching the centre where the ending is more disappointing than the rest of the game. No Man's Sky has no life, it has no soul, it's a dead algorithm, not a universe. I was an idiot for believing any of the promises, hoping that Sean Murray might have been able to deliver on even one of them. I just wish I had bought it on Steam because with the new investigation there's a chance I would have been entitled to compensation for false advertising but I doubt GoG will give me this. If they do then hats off to them but until then I'm going back to playing witcher 3 and forgetting my buyer's remorse.

No Man should Buy

I currently own (to my dismay) this game on Steam. Now I haven't had any performance issue but, you know, all the rest is there. No story. No Multiplayer. Tedious and repetitive gameplay. Barely any space combat, and what is there is mediocre at best. Near-infinite universe that is hollow inside. No base building. No customization. and the list goes on The game is overpriced even at 40% off. DO NOT BUY. You will regret it.
