I Love This!!!

Even if it wasn't "On Sale" this game would be Totally worth it! Have you ever played NWN as a DM or Co-DM? Oh man! Have you ever played a game of NWN that was run by a DM or two... maybe three? Neverwinter Nights is an experience that no other software has accomplished as wonderfully - to date. I usually just play single player, but Love the opportunity to get in with a group. What Beamdog has done here is brilliant! I love the new graphics styles! I love the new UI too! This also includes the Diamond Edition so we Really get a lot to love with this. I'm especially thankful for the inclusion of the NWN Art Book! This thing is Gorgeous! If you enjoy D&D, this collection can keep you gaming for the rest of your life. It reminds me of tabletop D&D with miniatures that are animated and dungeon tiles that are alive! Even without adding community addons (but this game was designed to add mods!) the collection of D&D creatures, monsters and villains along with non-hostile animals and NPCs, etc., is truly extraordinary. It's So Complete! The environments are awesome too. When the dust settles after you've saved the realm, or died trying, why not head into the Toolset and build a world of your own? It's really fun and, as easy as it is to create... anything, it's also a very robust game engine editor where we can script all manner of things, create custom stuff, or just use assets that are free for the taking - right within the toolset! Example: When I wanted to create an Artificial Intelligence behavior script for townsfolk, I simply opened the one that comes with the NPCs and there are commented lines that can be turned on or off simply and easily with instructions right in the script itself! Not all scripts are this way, but most are. I am no coder and I did an awful lot of it back in the day when I created The Lands of Cormyr. Like I said, though: most of the time I just hop in and play for hours on end in a single player adventure. Love it!

Clearly a money grab Scheme

Shame that we have something like this on GOG. So many DLCs for a few bucks and all require the enhanced edition. GOG doesnt even sell the NWN Diamond edition anymore. Dont bother with this, unless you got money to throw away. PS: For those who own NWN Diamond, this version should be free as its the same game with the same bonus content except with slightly improved graphics and other small things that are not worth the extra price tag. Update: NWN Diamond now comes with the Enhanced Edition.

Linux Woes

The game is 5/5 I have no doubt, I purchased NWN:EE during the winter sale for a bargain price. I still own the original big-box version of NWN & have probably played, and completed, it more than any other game throughout my entire 25+ year gaming life. What swayed me to buy this version was native Linux support, which is where I spend most of my time these days. And while I do have a Windows install (well, several) would prefer not to have to switch OS's just to play a game. Unfortunately, it doesn't work natively on Linux at all, at least not my distro (Mint 19.1). Installation went fine but the game wouldn't launch. Running from terminal I was greeted with a missing library error, which I fixed and got the game to load only to be greeted with flickering video, poorly resized UI, vertically offset mouse pointer recondition and NO SOUND. So if, like me, you are buying this because of the native Linux version? Beware, your mileage may vary and sometimes the road may completely disappear.

Game closes all the time

My experience with the game has not been good due to it closing all the time. In character creation, when I try to change clothes to choose the one, it stop and closes. This also occurs when I choose some pre-created characters. During the game, it stop and closes, so I haven't left the tutorial yet.
