Don't Like it.
The enhanced edition only marginally increases the graphic quality of the original game. The new control interface is clunky and much harder to control. I would have to say that it is just not worth spending your money on.

Mediocre at best.
Many people look back fondly on their old school CRPG that they grew up playing as a kid or teen. Many hours were had marveling at the accomplishment of Bioware bringing the DnD universe to life on a PC platform. But this game just does not age all that well. The main campaign story falls flat, it holds your hand the whole time, reminiscent of a children’s cartoon. The AI is very poor, constantly stuck behind an object it failed to pathfind and some henchmen won’t even switch to melee when the distance is closed, leading to attacks of opportunity with every shot. The game in general is still buggy, I’ll lose my buff bar just switching zones, conversation clicks sometimes fail to start, Characters getting blocked by NPCs that fail to move… you know stuff that we put up with decades ago… still in the game. Once again mods are left doing all the dirty work while a terrible developer slaps ENHANCED EDITION on the cover and calls it a day. I tried to love it again, I just can’t do it. The only reason to pick this up again is to mod it to hell and/or multiplayer shenanigans. Single player gamers - skip this one.

DnD since 1978 & NWN since its inception
I can not speak for everyones experience, but mine has been very favorable. Last years character model graphic upgrade, as well as the previous game upgrades were something I've waited for years. I know some were wishing for huge major graphics overhaul, but without bascically making a total new game which would break all the fan based creations over the years, this was (for me too) a pipe dream. What NWN is about a module creation system, just like the original table top system... as in story telling and immersion for the player. There is a plethora of content available for hundreds of hours of game play (or make your own in the included toolset and share it), this does not even include all the persistant game worlds people have created and run as virtual DMs. Finally, a good springboard for NWN fan base creations is: Neverwintervault.org and BEAMDOG's site: https://forums.beamdog.com/categories/neverwinter-nights. Clearly a money grab Scheme
Shame that we have something like this on GOG. So many DLCs for a few bucks and all require the enhanced edition. GOG doesnt even sell the NWN Diamond edition anymore. Dont bother with this, unless you got money to throw away. PS: For those who own NWN Diamond, this version should be free as its the same game with the same bonus content except with slightly improved graphics and other small things that are not worth the extra price tag.

Solid remaster
I got this in 2021 mainly to play the two of the new Enhanced Edition only modules sold as DLC as I felt the Diamond edition was sufficient enough for me. However I kept playing this version to play co-op with my friends and some of the community spotlighted modules like Siege of Shadowdale. Unlike Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition which is not a 100% improvement over the original, this one feels more like it (with years of patching at least). I have barely had any issues and at least playing co-op with one or two friends through the official content, it has rare almost flawlessly online too. Whether all of the Diamond edition modules work on this on I cannot say. Giving it 4 stars since if you only play solo and are not interested in the premium DLC or multiplayer, this is not really a needed purchase if you already own the Diamond Edition. However as time goes on, there will probably be more mods that require this, so get this one on sale at some point.
