I can still remember picking up a copy of LOTR2 in a Babbages bargian bin in the late 90's because the cover looked interesting. My wife can remember being an LOTR2 widow on Friday nights late. Everything about this game, from the game play, the atmosphere, the music...you get the picture... invites you to lose yourself in a relaxed yet never boring expereince that will captivate your imagination. If you have ever wanted to run your own kingdom, and wage war against castles, wait till they announce a fix to the bug that keeps it from starting, then prepare to be ruled by the realm you rule!!
My personal favorite strategy PC game ever! (Lords of the Realm 2). Awsome game, easy mechanics which make it easy for new comers. Have yet to try the first game but its a nice added bonus to throw it in this pack.
In my opinion, what separates great games from good games is the feeling. Lord of the Realms II (which is included in this pack) got that, the artwork, music, voices...creates a special atmosphere.
This game is still good fun, the excellent ganeplay will last for many more years to come. A must buy for those who love strategy games!
Here is an Awesome classic game that combines Turn Based Risk like game where as the battles are RTS if you leave the battle not paused. i have been playing this game for years and it plays get on my netbook (10") and with the small screen, the pixels are not an issue. i say its a must buy.
Fun, easy to pick up, but provides hours of entertainment. The game doesn't need modern graphics to work and remains very fun (much like a game such as Panzer general 2) . I can't think of but a few modern games that I can say the same about. Purchase!
