Underrated must-play
If you like Myst and Riven, then probably the only reason you wouldn't love this would be if you happen to have a passionate, incurable hatred for Star-Trek style sci-fi. Satisfying world building and excellent story that invites emotional investment and features a compelling antagonist. Like with Riven in comparison to Myst, the execution shows a significant increase in production value over the first entry in the series (Journeyman Project 1993) due to whatever mix of better budget, acquired experience, and time for ideas to develop. Unlike Riven, all the puzzles feel fully realized and "cleaned up" in their presentation rather than rushed; every solution/failure at least makes sense in hindsight, with no red herrings that defy in-game explanation (i.e. Riven's spinning dome renders having unique and decipherable gold symbols on them that differ from the "correct" symbols seen when observing the same domes through the viewers). I'd recommend playing the Pegasus Prime remake of the first game before this one to get full story context, but regardless, don't miss out on this overlooked gem of an adventure game.

game is broken on w11
Tried everything available on line, but this game will crash often and won't allow progress, very disappointing. The first title in the series runs smoothly. Avoid

A favourite.
I first saw this the year it came out at a friend's house. The curtains were drawn, the sound turned up and the game opened. The opening credits came up.... "O.M.G! This is great!" Then we played for a bit. "I love this game." When I got back home, I begun my campaign to get my parents to buy me a copy. Cutting edge graphics and video for it's day that still holds up well, gorgeous music (that has you cursing that there isn't a soundtrack available), and a thoroughly engrossing story. More than worth GOG's low price for such a wonderful game.

An old favorite, glad to play again
I've loved the Journeyman series since Turbo, and it's wonderful to see BiT on GOG. I hope to see LoT soon!
