Funny and entertaining adventure with breathtaking events
This Game actually had a very engrossing plot and made you feel like you had a personal stake in the outcome. I just wish the first and second game were as well written and hilarious.
A highly tedious game. Its a bit better than the 3rd game but far worse than the 1st. They made each game progressively worse.
SPOILER LINE: This one starts right off being super tedious. You have to look all around at many many things as the very start of the gameplay and with it you have to even find hidden codes and input them. If you don't use a guide, you will be stuck bored out of your mind, and lose interest in this game. Its a rare person that wouldn't. Bad game design right away. It doesn't really get much better.
The story is worse than the first game. For whatever reason, they decided a time game must also have aliens too. So from here on out aliens are a thing and it doesn't make any sense to me other than trying to draw more eyeballs to it. However, the story is not nearly as bad as the 3rd game.
Still, I'm not ever playing this game again. Once through with a guide was enounh and I love FMV games. This one, N.O. Not recommended. If I knew that the 2nd and 3rd games were this bad. They're not worth playing.
I didn't like Myst because of the clumsy interface, and this game is the same.
Pre-rendered 3D: a terrible dissosance for the senses - giving you the sense of free-roaming, but in truth a very limited ability to navigate.
The story is also rather weak, but interesting enough.
For the $2.99 I paid, it was worth it - a welcome diversion, but its not a keeper.
There is no doubt that the success of Myst inspired the journeyman games, just as there is no doubt they did everything Myst did 10 times better, this is the middle chapter in one of the best PC adventure game series of all time. its a must have
