Navigate miles and miles of tyre changing, fuel burning, carburettor busting, mud clattering terrain, through night and day, rain and shine. Adapt to whatever the procedurally generated world of Jalopy can throw at you.
Upgrade, maintain and care for your Laika 601 Deluxe motor vehicle. Keep close attention to everything from the state of your tyres, the condition of your engine and even the space in your trunk. Repair each aspect of your scrappy little car and install unique upgrades to deal with the changing world. Everything from cargo weight to the condition of your carburettor will determine how your car performs on the open road.
The rise of capitalism brings an economical conundrum. Scavenge for scraps to make a small return of investment, or become a baron of the open road and smuggle contraband under the eyes of border patrols to make a sizable profit.
Developer Greg Pryjmachuk worked on the Formula 1 franchise from 2009 through to 2014. In late 2014, Greg began work on this new driving simulation featuring the fictional Laika 601 Deluxe car; reminiscent of the East German “Trabbie”, it will need much love and care to keep it going on this memorable road trip!
New odometer keeps track of the miles you have travelled
New spray paints available from the Laika dealership to customise both inside and outside of your car
Car manual has been overhauled to improve functionality – check the weight limit of your car to improve your Laika’s performance
Scavenging game mechanic has been expanded so that abandoned crate spawn more dynamically so eagle-eyed drivers such as yourself can be the first to spot valuable parts
New scrap yards added to selected routes – search for spare parts if you can crack the gate
Games menu remembers saved game and creates a background matching the new area to explore and remind you where you are on your journey
Various road conditions, oil spillages and pot holes are just some of the new environmental details which add to Jalopy’s realism
An entirely new tyre system added – players can now better prepare for their trips, with off-road tyres and wet weather tyres affecting grip levels
New music from musician Jeremy Warmsley which can be played on the car radio or from a play list
If you like cars, inventory management, an annoying uncle, and the ability to run out of gas halfway through cold war europe and need to walk to the gas station an hour away just to realize you left your wallet in the car, This is a good game.
I bought a tire for a shop bug but it flies ..
The engine oil bug can not fill the engine oil.
I can not play normally.
It is not a healing game but a cancer game. Leave it.
상점버그로 타이어 구매했지만 날아감..
엔진오일 버그로 엔진오일 못넣음..
뭐 정상적으로 플레이를 할 수가 없네..

This game is a great idea! But honestly it's the shortes game I ever played. From Berlin to Turkey in 5h - taking time to upgrade the car.
I do like the game for the peacefull idea of driving from A to B, looking for crates and upgrading your car. But I don't like the idea that the game have been developed up to the point that it is. This game is missing like a lot of everything! More shops, roads, more traffic, more people on the streets of the cities - this game is like postapo where you just drive from A to B and back again. The game is dead in and outside. No patches, just some minor bugfixes, no mods, no nothing.
If you like to spend 5h for 5 bucks than it's a good game. But if your looking more go for truck simulator or something.
When cars were full of holes and you could repair them with some cataloy resin and not worry too much about the MOT.
Before i say anything, buy the following; engine repair kit, jack, crowbar (you need this to break the locks on loot crates) ,two-stroke oil (keep the oil to petrol mix optimum) , gallon fuel container(filled), water bottle and as soon as possible a spare tyre. This will get you from one destination to the next.
Your car handles differently depending on terrain and tyres. In wet weather with normal standard tyres it will slide all over the place at corners and flooded roads. By driving slower you can navigate safely still. With wets on it will naturaly drive fine through floods. If however you want to go 'offroading' -there's hidden loot crates in these areas -you will need offroad tyres. but these wear quicker -like wets- in drier conditions.
Routes are important too. Icons with the car leaning over in a rut are to be avoided unless you have offroad tyres. Driving on normal tyres can result in burst tyres -You will see mounds on the road and exceedingly rutted surfaces. Likewise grey cloud and a smooth road means wets are idealy needed. Sun means, well sunny and dry road and a fuel pump means -yep, garage along the route. A '?' means there may or may not be a garage. Probably due to it's proceduraly generated game engine. When you reach a motel, sell your found loot and top the car up -fuel/oil- and use an engine repair kit -it can be used on 3 items; engine, carb, air filter. Keep them from going to 1 point (3 being the fully repaired for all items) sleep will save the game, if you collect more loot on a journey outward and get stuck; wrong tyres or general issue, try unloading the stuff in the boot or change a tyre, it sometimes gets you unstuck. Then put it all back in boot. If that doesn't work, save and reload will put you back at the motel with your loot/boot content intact! So no loss try again. Topup what items you use and replace in boot
