Won't run on Windows 10 :(
Title says it all. Loved this game as a kid, but can't get it to work on Windows 10 :(

@krissebesta: GOG excluded dgVoodoo setup because overriding the resolution triggers game timing bugs. The faster your PC the worse it gets. AI will jitter and behave erratically, the cars will collide in the mission 1 opening scene if you don't skip it, and Taurus will drive extremely slowly. When I used XP I used to workaround these issues by using "winThrottle" but that doesn't work anymore (Windows 7 64-bit). Increasing the glide resolution can also create texture craziness, presumably because the increased resolution uses up too much video memory. This is first apparent after destroying the fireworks stand. You can mitigate this somewhat by increasing the texture memory in dgVoodoo setup.

Still a good game after all this time
I remember playing Interstate '76 on my friend's computer back in the late 1990's. It was fantastic fun - reminiscent of the Steve Jackson board game, Car Wars, with the funkiest soundtrack ever to grace a game. I loved cruising around, shooting things and causing mayhem. Years later, Interstate 76 naturally looks a little dated. The cars don't handle as realistically as I remember, and the damage model can - at times - seem to be just plain unfair. The game is very linear, despite offering you the chance to customise your car from salvage. It is, essentially, an action game rather than an RPG. Despite my criticisms, it is still a groundbreaking game and fun to play. The voice-acting is very good, and the car combat can get very intense, providing a satisfying experience when you drive your smoking Piranha home :) For $5.99, it is excellent to see this packaged with the Nitro add-on, and makes it well worth the purchase.

Great game, with some flaws
I loved this game when it first came out, and I remember thinking it felt huge and open. Playing it now, it feels more linear than I remember, but it's still quite fun. The salvage system adds some depth, and it blends the line between "arcade" and "simulation" pretty well. The music is the perfect 70's funk to match the game's timeline. There are tons of classic muscle cars (albeit named differently for licensing purposes) and it's fun to try out different cars in Melee. This release has some problems, though. The sky, and the circling death cam are both running at super-speed, most likely related to current hardware being far more than what the game was designed for. The AI cars also seem to glitch occasionally, and they will shake back and forth quickly while moving very slowly in a straight line. These aren't game breaking glitches, but they are very noticeable. Still, this is a great game that brings back some good memories, and I'm glad it's available here.

Many hours lost.
Many hours was lost to this gem. And how many times the button was pressed and another poem of the master was aired over the radio i don't know. Tryed to install the original i got on a shelf a few month back with limited success. looks like its time to buy one more copy. All hail GoG, the provider of nostalgia.
