STUNNING, ALL ACROSS THE BOARD

Beautiful, hand-drawn art and mesmerizing visual effects breathe life into every card, battle and battlefield, making GWENT fun to play and every duel a joy to watch.

SKILL BEATS LUCK

Crush the enemy with brute strength or outsmart them with clever tricks — no matter your deck, GWENT’s unique round-based gameplay opens up a world of strategic possibilities to play with when fighting for victory.

MORE THAN ONE WAY TO PLAY

Whether it’s a quick online game against a friend, a highly competitive PvP challenge, or something new and wildly adventurous like the Arena, GWENT’s selection of game modes has got you covered.

EASILY SATISFYING, ANYTHING BUT EASY

Sling cards from your deck across two tactically distinct rows — melee and ranged. Gather more points in the duel against your opponent to win a round. Win two out of three rounds to win the battle. It won’t be easy, but no one said it should be.

NO HOLDING BACK, NO HOLDING HANDS

You start with 10 cards from your deck in hand, able to play each card right from the start. It’s up to you to open the game with your strongest unit, or save the best for later in the fight. How will your deck look and what will your strategy be?

The game requires an online connection to play and offers optional in-game purchases.

I really enjoy gwent

I love card games and played Magic, Hearthstone, and even the weird elder scrolls and riot games ones, this is by far my favorite. the play style is really interesting and there are a lot of strategies that you can pull off for dynamic games that rarely feel one sided. do you win round one so you can have card advantage in round 3? do you try to bleed as many cards as you can? do you use your combo in round 2 and try to win even though you have less cards but you have your combo? As a product review, I give this game 5/5. I have tossed maybe 30 bucks into the game and feel happy to support CDPR. (I played a little in the beta and was rewarded with 20,000 scraps, enough to really make a solid deck) currently, I have 3 really solid decks and am looking forward to making more. There are some bugs, the interface is slowly improving over time, the gameplay feels balanced, I find the meta interesting and have seen success with off meta builds. My biggest compaint is that the reward system penalized me really hard with the geralt and dandelion adventure because I didn't have the ability to make a nilfgard deck and needed to play aristocrats to get the weekly bonus. I only had a skeilege and an elf deck at the time and it was like an impassible wall. I think they understood that and actively attempting to adjust the rewards.

ALL ABOUT IT

I have played a lot of card games hearthstone,,clash royale(sorta card game),Card wars.Gwent has a very good focus on math and turn planning and predicting certain outcomes as well it is different from hearthstone in that you get to play the entire game or atleast a round of it and not quit prematurely as you are losing.I would also suggest F2P players who love strategy/card games... and to try it out as it is F2P friendly and does not rip you off in case you want to spend a little dough. You can get 5 cards if you win 6 'rounds'(about 30 mins time ).A game basically will have 3 rounds and you are to win 2 rounds to win the game resulting in you winning one or two rounds after a game resulting in a net positive gain. Evil in the flesh

I loved CDPR, loved GOG, loved their ideaology. Was working on buying more games on GoG than Steam. Bought their games on both Steam, Gog and Android (board game). Then Gwent happened. Spend about 200 euro on the game. No, not spending, investing! I invested it into my heroes in game industry! The new Blizzard. They deserved my trust and loyalty.... Oh boy how I was wrong. I've been screwed in Early Access games on Steam but Gwent is the biggest money robbery of all. Fk CDPR, fk GOG. Enjoy my money. You'll not be getting any single cent from me. God bless DRM-Free platform *cough, vomit, choke*. Full of lies, full of cheats. Evil in the flesh.

Completely ruined Gwent.

This game is very much different from the Beta version - the game we tested, knew and loved. The moderators in the official forum try to silence any type of criticism, but not here; Beta Gwent was magical and absorbing, this game that goes by the same name is just not fun.

Gwent is great again

A lot of negative reviews on this page were left by the open beta players who didn't like the changes in Homecoming. However a lot of things changed since (mulligan is most sagnificant) and I can honestly say that Gwent is one of the most fun and user friendly CCG I've ever played. The art is stunning, the economy is very friendly, the gameplay is easy to pick up and hard to master. Playerbase is big enough to always find a match and big updates come every month. Additionally CDPR puts A LOT OF effort in the tournaments making them very fun to watch. All in all I think it's a very good time to pick up a game either you're a new or returning player.
