FREE TO PLAY THAT’S WORTH YOUR TIME

A fair and fun progression system turns the effort of building a competitive collection of cards into pure pleasure — simply collect new cards to build decks with as you play GWENT; no strings attached.

STUNNING, ALL ACROSS THE BOARD

Beautiful, hand-drawn art and mesmerizing visual effects breathe life into every card, battle and battlefield, making GWENT fun to play and every duel a joy to watch.

SKILL BEATS LUCK

Crush the enemy with brute strength or outsmart them with clever tricks — no matter your deck, GWENT’s unique round-based gameplay opens up a world of strategic possibilities to play with when fighting for victory.

MORE THAN ONE WAY TO PLAY

Whether it’s a quick online game against a friend, a highly competitive PvP challenge, or something new and wildly adventurous like the Arena, GWENT’s selection of game modes has got you covered.

EASILY SATISFYING, ANYTHING BUT EASY

Sling cards from your deck across two tactically distinct rows — melee and ranged. Gather more points in the duel against your opponent to win a round. Win two out of three rounds to win the battle. It won’t be easy, but no one said it should be.

NO HOLDING BACK, NO HOLDING HANDS

You start with 10 cards from your deck in hand, able to play each card right from the start. It’s up to you to open the game with your strongest unit, or save the best for later in the fight. How will your deck look and what will your strategy be?

The game requires an online connection to play and offers optional in-game purchases.

My Favourite Card Game

I played many card games. Played Yu-Gi-Oh when I was a kid, then because of my love for Warcraft, I played Hearthstone for years. Then because of my love for the Witcher, I started to play Gwent. At first I thought that how would I get those cards to make a decent deck but thanks to the generosity of Gwent, I made my first decent deck scond week. I realized I worked like a slave when I was playing Hearthstone and loved Gwent even more. At those times Rank 21 was the best rank and I was 20 (never hit 21, sadly) with my own deck. It amazed me that I didn't need to netdeck streamers to win. After patches and the other stuff Homecoming came. At first I didn't like it, I wanted my old Gwent back. Like everyone else. But when I tried to like Homecoming, I realized that it is not different than the beta version at all. OK there are many changes, but after this last mulligan update it literally started to feel like old Gwent, with better graphics and rewards. TL;DR: Gwent is the most generous card game on the market (literally got full collection and most of the premium cards without spending a penny), and you can play with your own deck instead of netdecking and still can win.

The only multiplayer game that I play

Until I found Gwent, I was exclusively a single-player gamer. Gwent is a fun game that you can play both casually and competitively, and is very free-to-play friendly.

Really fun, and intense

I really like the game, it's constantly improving, and they show very clearly that they listen to the consumers. It's very cheap to buy the cards if you need them, but you could easily get by without spending a time. A hell of a good time.

Best card game ever

The mini-game in W3 was fun, the beta was great, and although there was some chaos after the infamous midwinter update, the devs have learned a lot from their mistakes and released Homecoming. Sure, some aspects are different from the "original" Gwent... but come on, the game we have now is a foundation 10 times better than beta ever was. The new provision system allows for a fine tuning raw points never could, and deckbuilding is now a core part of the experience. The games are as strategic as ever, but much less autopilot than during beta. They had a very good game back then, and they decided to change it... into THE best card game I ever played. Props to CDPR !
