A comedy cosmic horror adventure made in Transylvania.
Darkham, with its crooked gambrel roofs, dark alleys, and a past shrouded in secrecy, never really was a welcoming place, but nowadays? Kooky cults are popping up everywhere, and that most evil book, the Necronomicon, is spoken of in trembling whispers once more.
Detective Don R. Ketype is on the case to retrieve the mysterious evil tome, but unsuspecting librarian Buzz Kerwan stumbles upon it and accidentally transforms his cat, Kitteh, into a walking, talking abomination. Being humanized? Quite a downgrade.
Gibbous is a comedy cosmic horror game - a modern adventure that is classically inspired, features gorgeous HD art, detailed traditional animation, and a lengthy story that will see the three protagonists travel around the world and deal with abominations both cosmic and human-made, voodoo, and Things That Should Not Be. From Lovecraft Country to Transylvania, set off on a quest to get a very cynical cat to stop talking.

A Cthulhu Adventure is a real treat, and one of the most enjoyable games of its genre and textual influence I've played in a long while. It isn't the longest game by any means, but there are many Easter eggs and cool horror references hidden away to find.

Absolutely lovely!
I enjoyed this game a lot! Nice graphics, nice characters, nice story, and a really nice kind of humour. A detective called "Don R. Ketype" - yes, I like that! I am sure there are a lot more funny names in the game, but I did not get them, because English is not my native language. Although I consider myself having a good knowledge and understanding of English language, I really wished there was a German voice track, because many of the characters you meet are speaking terrible accents. Sometimes I had to guess what they where saying, and without the German text I wouldn't even have had a tiny chance of understanding. Apart from that language problem: a great game! Hmmm... the ending... *sigh*... well, it is some sort of happy ending, anyway, and everyone will live happily ever after, although not quite the way you would expect, I guess. Nevertheless, it made my eyes wet. So be prepared and have your tissues ready! Only one question remains: will Mr. "R. Ketype" ever be able to keep his shoes for more than one scene? :)

Good and funny adventure game
Gibbous is a truly beautiful game with amazingly good voice acting and lots of humorous pop culture references. Personally, I love Kitteh's interaction with a girl named Annie in Fishmouth... The puzzles are quite logical, but can be challenging, so I recommend listening to all the characters' comments about the available objects or NPCs. The character animations are a bit stiff, especially the faces. Finally, the Polish translation contains many errors that can lead to misunderstandings. Definitely recommend!
