Before man climbed down from the trees to shop in megastores and drink cappuccino, before the Earth wadded itself into a cool blue ball, before the Moon even existed, there was the Island. The Island, a massive fragment of a long-lost planet, hurtling blindly through space. Upon the surface of this paradise wanders the giant, Kabuto. Little does Kabuto know that the Island was home to others before him. In the oceans, there dwells a matriarchal race called the Sea Reapers. In their pride, they created Kabuto, as a defense against intruders. But Kabuto became conscious of himself, his loneliness, his pain - and he went berserk.
Space castaways, the Meccs piloted their ship through space, looking for their missing friends. If you haven’t guessed already, they ended up on the Island. Faced with yet another unscheduled layover while on their way to Planet Majorca, the Meccs decide to make the best of their temporary home. Just their luck - the natives are already embroiled in their own little war, and the Mecc visitors are most unwelcome!
Meccaryns... Sea Reapers... Kabuto... One island isn’t big enough for the three of them.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I bought this game. It's one of the funniest, most enjoyable games I've ever played. Remember, when Kabuto's arse falls from sky, run like your nuts are on fire.
I loved this game, and still have my original copy, which I install and play every few years. Insanely funny, crazy over the top action, and Kabuto! It's almost impossible to pin down the best part, but one thing that stands out is the quick movement ability of the Siren...a nearly effortless sensation of speed and agility...it's just about the most entertaining travel power out there.
First time I bought it, it was in Click!, polish gaming magazine(now dead :(). I loved every part of it, from story, characters and great sense of humour to lovely graphics and gameplay. This game deserves an HD remake, but not like God of War or Devil May Cry- true remake like 343 Industries did with Halo: Combat Evolved.
Three different characters, three different stories, three different game-plays, three different campaigns, but only one campaign is unlocked at the beginning. The others opens later. I remember that the most painful problem was no save option. You have to complete full mission. At the end of the first campaign, the missions are long and hard (if the game is not stable, then it will be impossible to complete). The other two campaigns are easier than the first one, which is not optimal for the game.
I bought this game for my old Mac when Mac games were very scarce. I still have the old DVD-ROM. I bought it up front when GOG began to support Mac and now I'll play the waiting game until this game is supported on Mac natively. I have great memories with this game. I've played it though several times when I was younger and thought it was hilarious then and I can't wait to experience it again. Thanks GOG!
