Unplayable on W11
Got this game on GOG, thinking I was going to be able to play it without the need of going into loops and doops. Well, I was wrong. You still need to look for external patchess and such. Sad

The Ultimate Challenge
I have had this game since it came out I still got it in the original box including gangsters 2!. This game is a amasing simulator, run a casino in a bank, run a whorehouse in a large hotel and run grifters from a tenement block. They increase your chances of not being raided asap. This game is one of the most indulging simulators you will ever play. I promise you will fit right into the game no matter what!.

Just as good as it ever was
Clunky interface and sophisication aside, this remains one of the greatest turn based strategies of all time in my book. Yes, it has a learning curve. Yes, it is difficult, but that's the whole point, isn't it? What Godfather is handed an easy experience?

The Best Gangster Sim PERIOD!
God I loved this game. I remember not having a computer, so I'd walk to the internet cafe and pay money just to play this game. I'd sit there for hours until my mom finished work. Everything about it is awesome. Sure the graphics suck, but it was good for its time. Especially the depth of the game. The ability to go from a small crew, to owning the city is the best. While killing, extorting and bribing your way to the top. It's a bit steep to learn, but once you do, you won't stop playing. This game brings back so much memories. Good times.

I remember...
...playing this with a friend of mine back in the days. A very deep gaming experience. Since then I tried to get hands on this game again but coudln't manage to get it to run on my notebook. After all the gog-version can be started. Unfortunatels still quite instable. Please improve perfomance of this real strategy-gem!
