Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.

I played a bit at launch and liked it but saw some bugs were popping up repeatedly , after finishing Atomfall I decided to come back especially as I heard it got an update in the time between. Went in with a fresh new install and couldn't get past the first computer tried several more times including staring a completely new game and same result. After a month of no response on the fourm here on gog and unable to get on the discord, I'm not going to waste time with this mod anynore . The part of the game I was able to play was a solid take on how the UK would handle a nuclear war , lots of unique variants of the things we known as well as a few unique elements that build on the late 50s early 1960s look of London . However due to now being unable to play or get further , nor can I can confirm my pc is the issue and it's my rig or not due to lack of repose I can't give this more than a 2/5
I can't play it. The controller just goes nuts and i have to unplug it, wait, plug it back in, wait, it workds for 2 seconds, and goes haywire again. I have no idea. The controller works with all my other games. This is unplayable.
The radio music is overly heavy-handed for my taste It just gives the impression the creators didn't trust the explicit narrative of "post-apocalyptic setting caused by militarism, etc." so central to fallout games to express itself and gave it a "helping" hand with choosing the most nationalist songs they could.
So, first the positive:
From little i managed to force myself to play trough crashes the story dopesnt seem to be about finding a family memeber.
Negative:
While voice acting is pretty good the dialogue writing is not great and dialogues are very linear just like Fallout 4
Quests and story seem very linear one way so far, nothing like the fallouts of old
Still not a real fallout game with skills and skill checks, and perks are still same crap from Fallout 4
Still has settlements, ugh
Conclusion:
If you are not a fan of fallout 4/76 and are a fan of 1/2/NV this is not a game for you, I personally would have preffered if they made something way smaller in scope but with more freedom of choice in how the conversations go, how to solve the quests, where the story goes and with all the Fallout RPG stuff returned
After dealing with a few in game crashes here and there, the mod has been absolutely fantastic. I haven't seen very much so far but for the time I have played, the scenery, locations and feel are just perfect.
Regardless of the crashes, the team has done incredibly well to bring us Fallout fans something else to dive into while we all wait for Fallout 5 in the future.
I will be going for that 100% and collecting every single thing that i can find!
