We are very grateful for the amazing attention Fallout London is receiving and want to thank you all for the great feedback! We're working hard to fix the reported technical issues and expect to release an update soon. Thank you for your patience and support!
Many of the reported issues appear to stem from missing one of the installation steps outlined below. While we work on improving the installation experience, please ensure you follow all the steps carefully.
- Team FOLON®
Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

Its not even possible to play this game it just crashes constantly and randomly. I get that this is a free mod and a small team made it but right now its not worth your time or effort, even to get this to run on the steam version is a huge hassle so avoid it if its not the GOG version too.
First came the bad excuse of "Bethesda updated the game and killed all mods ever" only to then make a downgrader THREE MONTHS LATER.
First impressions:
Can't change sex mid character creation. Traits come back but there's nothing really new, it's just traits from NV aside from maybe 1 or 2 new ones. All the perks are the same from FO4 it seems, aside from the return of lady killer/black widow and confirmed bachelor/Cherchez La Femme. When you're done with character creation and the cutscene is over you're left in a glass tube that the devs expect you to punch your way out of despite nothing telling you to do so, I imagine some people might get stuck there. After that you think you might have two ways of progressing, either through a hole in a wall that some people came out of in a cutscene, or a big door. There is no choice, you go through the door because the ladder doesn't actually do anything.
So through my only method of escape I'm greeted by a big fire and a door to my left. I go through the door to the left because that's very brightly lit, but no, it's where they keep the terminal with all the mods credits. I go back and try to go through the fire, but they put in an invisible wall. What you're supposed to do is go through a door in the dark. I suspect people might get stuck there too.
Then I go through an elevator where I'm made to explore the upper floors. I fight some new reskinned enemies at low level with my bare hands but uh oh, the animals do a lot of poison damage and I am level 1 with 4 endurance. So I die and I avoid them until I get a weapon. I go through the intro dungeon and I'm met with a train platform. I see sparking and go on the train and the train starts. But I wasn't done exploring the platform and so I reload a save but the train is still going no matter how many times I reload the save, leaving me stranded at the platform.
The Frontier had a better intro and that started with a used condom in a truck.
Ladies and Gentlemen! This is s a mod on Fallout 4! The game is going to break it, full stop. Buuuuttttt, it can be fixed, and with not much effort (at least on GOG, steam seems a mess thanks to Bethesda's oh so important "next gen" update).
All you need do, is to install buffout 4, with requirements

and cap the framerate, there's a few different folks kindly explaining the process here

Been working a charm since, and will definetly do until the MODDING team finds a fix they can bake in to the mod itself. I have no clue why so many in the audience are judging this the same way they would a new Bethesda release, this isn't a multibillion dollar developer. Give them a chance, and at least a third of the effort that goes into making the alleyway schlock from LL work (I have spent hoouurrrsss on that crap).
I fired a musket once before running away, desparately trying to survive the 30-some-second reload time before stepping on a mine and getting blown to bits.
Needless to say, that Fallout "magic" has been preserved here, across the pond.
So far the game is grate, there are some minor Bugs but they arent hat Bad. The World Design and the Story is Just fantastic and I cant wait spending the next months playing it. So thank you for the work your Team did and all the Problems you had and also solved... Thank you for that great experience :)
