Evil Genius

Fans of the Dungeon Keeper games have been harping for a third installment since the second game roller out. I keep telling them that it has already been made and that it is AWESOME. While this game has a lot of differences and it's not actually a sequel but it's basically Dungeon Keeper in a James Bond setting with modern graphics. EVERYTHING is good about this game! It has a brilliant artistic theme that stays the same down to the smallest detail. The music is breath taking. The only reason I didn't give this game a perfect 5 is because of the glitches. They don't come around too often but they can be really bad. Minions will sometimes just get stuck in corners often leading path blocking or, worse, rooms that can't finish being built. More than a few times I've had tourists come to my island and just immediately start running around freaked out for just no reason which starts a chain reaction of other tourists getting scared. This probably sounds really bad if you haven't played it, but it's little more than annoying, really. The game is pretty solid otherwise. It's an instant classic that I recommend to everyone. Even if you don't like this type of game.

I love the idea of what Evil Genius wanted to be. Unfortunately, it failed. The controls are strange and unintuitive, the AI is rather Buggy. The game is playable, but as soon as a certain level of advancement is reached, it becomes frustrating to command your minions. It's a pity, it could have been a great game.

Evil Genius is a game that fills a small niche when compared to similar games. Efficient base design is very important in this game, as your base needs to be both defensible and practical. Downside of the game is sometimes "clunky" interface. If you like the genre I recommend Evil Genius for you to play.

this game is truly one of the kind after watching the latest james bond movie I had this insatiable urge to play a spy game and since i couldent find no one lives forever this was the game for me its worth every penny it has its flaws but its amazing

This game is incredibly fun. The campy combination of 60's Bond films, and Austin Powers. Managing and building a unique base, and wreaking havoc and chaos upon the world is just fun. The downside is that I could only enjoy this game by cheating. It's incredibly difficult balancing your minions in the world, stealing money, and trying not to build too much heat with the good guys. Perhaps a better player than I could enjoy it while playing legitimately, but I say cheat and have fun.
