A Game of Disappointment

I'm a huge fan of the genre that is Empire Earth, Rise of Nations, Command & Conquer, Warcraft, etc. If it's an RTS base builder, I've played the life out of them. So, when I saw Empire Earth III on GOG, I assumed the best, and quickly became disappointed. EEIII doesn't follow any where near the same pathline as its predecessors.
