very clunkcy gameplay
turning the screen is very cluncky. dialogs are very slow and the plot does not flow well.. I see though how this evolved to be baldurs gate.

Best RPG since Planescape: Torment
Not only does D:OS2 beat its predecessor in all aspects, which is already an impressive achievement, I'd say it's the best RPG since Planescape:Torment. I've spent around 30hours on the first area alone and the openness in terms of choice and customization is phenomenal. The turn-based combat system from D:OS returns with a lot of new spells and strategy options to keep things fresh. I've beaten the game on Tactitian mode once now and with sidequests and all it took about 100 hours or more and the replay value is extremely high due to the plethora of choices and origin story options one can make. Wholeheartedly recommended for anybody who enjoys RPGs.

Awesome experience
I tried titles such as Baldur's Gate and found them hard to get in to. This game grips you by the throat and doesn't let go. I think this is because of the great Turn Based Combat and the gripping, well-polished storylines. The amount of content is huge, easily enough for 2-3 complete replays, focussing on different ways to handle stuff. I find myself returning to this in every spare moment and am very glad I got this. This is definitaly a buy, even for non-Baldur's Gate game enthousiasts.

Game of The Year 2017
I didn't think it was possible for a PC game to give you the sense of freedom and complicity a tabletop game can. Until I found Divinity: Original Sin 2... But that's just one side of the multi-faceted gem this game is. Anything you want for an RPG game and more. Without any doubt, this game will be among the finest RPGs ever created.
