The eagerly anticipated sequel to the award-winning RPG. Gather your party. Master deep, tactical combat. Join up to 3 other players - but know that only one of you will have the chance to become a God.

The Divine is dead. The Void approaches. And the powers lying dormant within you are soon to awaken. The battle for Divinity has begun. Choose wisely and trust sparingly; darkness lurks within every heart.

Who will you be?

A flesh-eating Elf, an Imperial Lizard or an Undead, risen from the grave? Discover how the world reacts differently to who - or what - you are.

It’s time for a new Divinity!

Gather your party and develop relationships with your companions. Blast your opponents in deep, tactical, turn-based combat. Use the environment as a weapon, use height to your advantage, and manipulate the elements themselves to seal your victory.

Ascend as the god that Rivellon so desperately needs.

Explore the vast and layered world of Rivellon alone or in a party of up to 4 players in drop-in/drop-out cooperative play. Go anywhere, unleash your imagination, and explore endless ways to interact with the world. Beyond Rivellon, there’s more to explore in the brand-new PvP and Game Master modes.

  • Game Master Mode: Take your adventures to the next level and craft your own stories with the Game Master Mode.

Great game, some flaws but mods can fix

Great game, lots of mods from the community. The mods especially the QoL mods make this game much better. Lots to do, it's engrossing, well written and graphically beautiful. Everyone says this game is so hard on classic mode, I think after the first act and midway into the second act, it's too easy on classic. Inventory management is horrible, but worth the pain. You need to upgrade your gear every level, which is really stupid, but there are mods to fix this or lesson the impact. Bottom line in an RPG a level 15 Divine/Legendary item should have better stats then a level 16 common or rare, but not in this game. Despite the flaws the game is incredible and well worth your 100+ hours. The replay value alone is worth the money. I will be looking forward to future games from Larian Studios. My wife is a huge fantasy nerd, she only likes the following games; almost all Legend of Zelda games (N64 and up), Skyrim, and all the Dragon Age games, and throw in Knights of Amalur. Needless to say she hasn't found a game she really likes since BotW and DA3. She loves this game for the storytelling, and she hates over the top CRPG. This game has made her re-think her stance on games like this. I think that says a lot.

Just amazing

If you havn't played many classic rpgs like I had not. I urge you to stay with it, the learning experience might be a bit rough and dry at the start. But damn, I just finished the game and it's one my best gaming experiences. Already planning my next playthrough.

Best RPG of recent years

Divinity original sin 2 is easily one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences ever created. Great voice acting, deep and tactical gameplay and interwoven player choice means this game is difficult to put down. Cheers Larian studios.

"RPG masterpiece", they say. IT'S TRUE!

You can say a great deal of effort was put into this game, and it shows. The amount of passion flows through every corner of this game! First, I must say, the story here is captivating in a way that makes it hard to put the game down. It is meaningful, with a great lore - specially if you've played the predecessor - and offers a fair sense of choice. I have to say that I felt really satisfied with the ending, based on the choices I made throughout the game. Voice acted from start to end, this game truly shines with quality regarding its voice acting! The story is narrated marvelously, and it adds a lot to immersion, which gives the feeling of a true RPG. So, if you're looking for a good story, look no further! Gameplay is phenomenal! I've never been too fond of turn-based RPG, but man, this one is fun! The way in which elements interact and the depth of combat truly makes this game worth playing! It requires planning, strategy, and pacience if you are to succed, even in the classic difficulty. Despite being rather difficult, combat is utterly rewarding, specially when you get the hang of it and begin to crush your foes with proper preparation. BE AWARE: THE GAME IN GENERAL DOES NOT HOLD YOUR HAND! Graphics are okay, and do a good job in provinding a pleasing experience throughout the game. Optimization is fine, despite a few slowdowns in busier sections of the game and larger encounters. Nothing that really takes away from the greatness of the experience. Replayability is strong in this game! Various possibilities open with each choice, including the character creation, and how you conduct the game. Beyond that, online functionality (coop and arena mode) and gamemaster mode add to the package. You'll get hundreds of hours from this game, that's for sure! Botton line is: are you fan of RPGs, great stories, or simply a fan of awesome games in general? If the answer is yes, give this game a go! It's worth the money and every minute spent on it! Have fun!

Like OS1, But Bigger & Better

If you liked Original Sin 1, you'll like this even more. It takes what made Original Sin good, and made it even better by expanding upon it, improving the UI in many ways (not just in looks, but also in functions), rebalancing and reworking stats, skills, abilities and so on. As well as introducing a ton of new stuff, the game also introduces 6 set in stone main character protagonists which you can choose from, unlike OS1, which your 2 main characters were always Custom Generic Mcgee, but you can also make a custom main character here too. The campaign works in several different chapters, with points of no return, kind of like Beyond Divinity, and with each chapter, there is a huge area to explore, that is also filled with interiors and lesser areas. I'd say the game is about 30-40% bigger than OS1. My main gripe with both this and OS1, is that there is no form of fast forward in battles, because enemies still take eons to take their turn, especially if there is a lot of them, also that AI glitch is still present, in which an enemy will sometimes stare into space for several seconds on their turn, like a 4 year old deciding which chess piece to move next, that might make sense if I were facing an actual player, but I'm facing AI controlled enemies, which should be able to decide actions within milliseconds, why is this still not fixed?! Also the inventory lags really bad when it's even remotely cluttered, which will be always. Witcher 3 also had a similar problem with it's inventory, where it would take a moment to process each item dragged wherever, etc, if it was even remotely crowded. Can no one program an inventory system efficiently these days? Oh well. Overall, Original Sin 2 is damn good, with few major flaws, recommended to just about any fan of turn based RPGs.
