Divinity 2 is perhaps one of the better action oriented rpgs I've played in a long time, the environments are huge - riddled with humor and "things" to do. While the combat is not as advanced as I'd personally prefer (though I have high standards) it still is quite enjoyable. Not to mention all the fun you can have with the developers "cheat" engine just for fun!
Epic open-world action RPG with old-school and new-school elements. Good story, great graphics, and excellent voice acting with all the feel of a AAA release. Unlike most modern RPGs there's no handholding to move you from one quest to another. You'll get some gentle hints to keep you engaged with the main quest, but completists will be hard-pressed to finish every last side quest. Easily fifty hours of gameplay.
In order to level properly you'll need to master both the allocation of skill points and the weapons and crafting system. Prior to the third act you'll level slowly - it's critical to find weapons and charms to supplement your meager stats in order to keep pace with the game.
All in all a fantastic game.
Divinity 2 in my opinion is one of the best RPGS ever made. The quests are written so clever and the environment still looks good in 2019. Until Divinity 3 (Ego Draconis) gets released this will be my favourite game to play when i want a high quality RPG experience.
Highly underrated game. An awsome RPG with a great world and solid mechanics. Buy it, you won't regret it.

A very nice surprise
I'll be honest: I've played the Xbox 360 version of this, but I assume the PC version is even better.
This is an excelent action RPG. The world is very well designed and oozes personality, with interesting places, good locations for battles and that sense of exploration only offered by the best games in the genre.
The story and characters are also very compelling. There's always something interesting happening story-wise. It's not simplistic, yet it's not overly-complicated. Divinity II just gets everything right.
