I'll be honest: I've played the Xbox 360 version of this, but I assume the PC version is even better.
This is an excelent action RPG. The world is very well designed and oozes personality, with interesting places, good locations for battles and that sense of exploration only offered by the best games in the genre.
The story and characters are also very compelling. There's always something interesting happening story-wise. It's not simplistic, yet it's not overly-complicated. Divinity II just gets everything right.
U gotta love this, RPG, Action and the Lore is great, this game has much fun in dialogues, its fun, "dirty" and have made me laugh often .. it got my "Like"
It is so good. Still one of the very best RPGs available. You won´t love it from the start but your love will grow limitless, with every hour you spend.
I must admit that while I was starting it, I wasn’t expecting it to be that good! It has got among the most memorable quests of any RPG you’ve played, but also there are MANY quests that aren’t written in the journal, if you are willing to search thoroughly enough! There is much attention in details.
Also, I really liked that: 1) the enemies don’t respawn (so you can clear an area completely), except in some final areas of the expansion, and 2) there is no fall damage. At last a game that the protagonist doesn’t lose half his health by falling from 2 meters! You can fall from everywhere! Both, rare features in today’s games.
I finished it, as thoroughly as I could, in about 65 hours and reached lvl 47. And I think I’ve missed 3-4 things to should have done.
All in all, I consider this to be the 2nd only to Witcher 3 best third-person RPG I’ve ever played, but certainly the most pleasant!
Not much more writing needed, Larian sure knows its trade!
This is a strange game sometimes I am having a great time other times I have to ask what were the devs thinking.
They have packed a lot into the game and tried a lot of different things some work some don't. By the time I got to the end I wasn't really using my tower for anything other than storage, I was ignoring new armour and weapons as what I had was doing the job and I just wanted to finish the game. That said I put a lot of hours into getting to the end and I would not have done that if I wasn't having fun.
