A (dark) dream came true today!
I swear I'm not the only one who said ''WOW!, I'm so happy I could get this game legally after so many years I thought I'd never see it becoming true. And GOG managed to do it, once again, masterfully done. GOG always delivers, and in an exquisite way. The game works fine, and we're talking about a 20+ game old, with all of its flaws, they managed to make it work like butter. I'm giving the 5 star not just because of the nostalgia factor or my way of saying ''thank you GOG for being that awesome'', but because I always thought I'd never see this game on a digital store, and even more difficult to have it DRM Free. And, having it with sweet addons like support for modern machines and running it with no problems. So, yes, I'm happy once again. And yes, if you have never played it beware: it's an old game, not so comfy like modern games use to be, rather clunky, dark, cryptic and sometimes unfair. You might not like it because it's not comfortable, and you know what? That's the point of Diablo. It IS unfair, it IS dark, grim and diabolic. It was made to make you deal with hell itself, in an adventure that who knows if you're coming back in one piece or not. If you have played Diablo II and want to try this you might feel it's not that great but you know? There is no 2 without 1 ;). The price is neat, fair enough. Now go buy it and inmerse into the darkness itself but try not to go down too fast... you won't survive past Catacombs if you aren't prepared enough. Trust me. Then again, GOG always delivers!
