I bought Diablo way back in 1997. This was my first ever RPG. I must say Diablo and Diablo II are the best RPGs ever.I love how it's very fun the discovery of every monsters strengths and weakness

From the Moment i first played this Game on a Friend's PC back in the Day, i was hooked. There is something simple, yet highly satisfying and addicting about the Gameplay, which itself spawned its own Genre.Don't get me wrong, there are obvious Influences from (at that Point) around 20 Year old games. Be it the Original Rogue or the the 80's/early 90's Holy Trinity of RPG Series, Ultima, Might& Magic and Wizardry , there's atleast a little bit of all of them in the Essence of Diablo. There is the possibility of modding the Game with some excellent Fan-Made mods to Suit your Tastes, and with a bit of Tinkering with Programs like Joy2Key, there's even the Option to play the PC Version with a Controller. Everyone should give Diablo a try, be it the Original or Part 2 and 3.

I played to some levels under the church and I really like the soundtrack. The village soundtrack is very beautiful and the dungeons soundtracks fit pretty well.

I can recall the first days of network gaming and this sums up most of my early memories of Battlenet or local area networking with friends to run ththrough a game to kill Diablo. Collecting player ears like you were a universal soldier in hell in multiplayer i can remember everyone started using raymonds trainer adding in things like godly plate of the whale while duping items by throwing potions around in town. Fun times that will never again return but the memories are sweet so the game gets 5 stars. Was the first real online game before MMO's became MMO's.
