Destroy All Humans!

I played the original on the original xbox and thie remake captures what the original game wanted to do perfectly. The improved graphics and cutscenes really polish the game up well and makes for an improved experience. Adding checkpoints at various points in the missions makes restarting missions on fail less of an issue. For the game itself, it's wonderful! It embraces the classic era of sci fi alien invaders movies by just going full force into the various tropes of the genre. Controls are intuitive (more so than when it was on console IMO) and the game provides plenty of opportunity to have fun, Even the small number of stealth missions were executed in a way that didn't feel like a chore, as many games tend to do. A total recommendation.

I haven't played original, so I don't have comparison, but I also don't have nostalgia goggles. With this in mind I must say that I quite enjoyed my time with this game. Sandbox levels are fun to goof around and missions are usually not very restrictive with how you play them (unlike modern sandbox games). I quite liked pulp sci-fi aesthetic and comedic tone. Biggest negative are disgusting character models. I get what they were going for, but end result looks like puppets from Spitting Image. Fortunately you won't see them much in gameplay thanks to third person perspective, but they do bring otherwise fun cutscenes down a bit. It's a bit grindy early on and some things could be better designed/balanced, but I didn't detracted much from my enjoyment.

This game has good gameplay and good humor, I hope they make a sequal.

Love it and was pretty easy to 100%

After finishing the game, i can say i love it. I never player the first game, but i still like it, even without the nostalgia. The good : - Funny story with quite fun dialogues. I like that it doesn't care about puting in satire about almost everything. - Funny NPC lines : THEM (a cult classic movie), They came to kick ass and chew bubblegum.... - Anal probing, telekinesis, fireworks...very fun weapons. - Nice graphics. From the few images i've seen of the first game, the graphics seem taken from the first game and upgraded nicely. - A few quite satisfying cut scenes. - Polished gameplay. The controls feel nice and slick. The bad : - Troughout my gameplay, i found one bug : sometimes if i use the holobob on a random NPC, when i look another way they would disapear canceling my disguise. Hope they will patch this and make NPC used for diguises stay. - Too short. Thought the story is very nice, the game didn't give me enough to feel satisfied. Without spoiling the story, it seems to me the devs are saying there might be more coming in the future. Time only will tell.
