Desperados III

I played and loved Shadow Tactics. Those who say that Desperados III uses the same mechanics are right. The setting is different, but the missions are quite similar up to the mid of the game. The one truly new character is the Voodoo lady which you get around mission 6, her abilities are completely new and fresh. Another major difference is that guns are much more powerful in this game because you get a lot more ammo for them. The game is polished, the levels are gorgeous, the voice acting is superb. I will add more when I finish it. Those who complain about not being able to see cover: press the H key to highlight interactable objects. You shouldn't skip the tutorial :) To those who say the game holds your hand too much: play on Desperado difficulty, I guarantee you will face dozens of reloads per level. But if you played Shadow Tactics to death then sure - you will feel it's not insanely hard. Do remember they will be adding additional missions to this game. I prepurchased it and it has so far been GOTY for me.

Bought this with some refund money from another big game (that ended up being a disastrous joke lol) Great gameplay, harkens back to my days playing command and conquer games but much more intricate and you have to be stealthy. You'll die as much as dark souls even on normal but that'll just give you incentive. Refreshing to actually want to play a game after that embarrassment we went though in december... I'm talking about cyberpunk, yes. Mate

Years ago i was in love with the commando's games because they are such good games. Then there was the Desperado's games which was simular but then with a western style. I played Shadow tactics which is also made by Mimimi and i loved that game, because they really looked at the Commando's and Desperado's from way back then. Because it was so good when i heard they where making Desperados 3 i know it would be an instant buy and i got to say after playing the main game i was not disappointed. Once again they have made a game with great gameplay, good characters and story. Visually they game looks stunning. So if you loved the commando's and desperado's game or like a tactical eagle eye game then this is a must buy

Aesthetically pleasing game. The story-line is well written. The mission with the bride is pure gold. Lots of dark humour (by the way, remember to make a photo with the groom). The dialogues between the characters are entertaining. Missions are diverse, forcing you to creatively use your characters' skills. NPCs have diverse behaviours, which enrich the atmosphere of the game. The soundtrack is great. Respects the original story of "Desperados: Wanted dead or alive". All in 3D. Top marks.

Amazing tactical stealth game. The setting is nice and the game holds true to the previous entries in the series, but with a modern touch in all aspects of the game mechanics. The only downside is that it can get mentally exhausting and I needed to take frequent breaks, but that is just part of this game genre. And the upside of that is the amazing feeling you get when you execute a flawless plan!
