needs more "polish" ;)

Here's my take + Graphics are great + Story is sublime (60h in and still not finished due to intesive side quests which are optional) + Variety of solving missions is great (Stealth, Rambo, Hacking, Pacifist or Mixed) + Variety of Killing people is huge (Blades, Knifes, Pistols, Machine guns, Rifles, Mantis blades, Monowire, etc. ) + Compared to the Witcher extremly refreshing in every aspect + You have to play the game like 20h to get good and to get good weapons then its really really fun! - Controls: doubletap wasd?! not a great idea. Especially annoying when trying to be stealthy - Bugs are there but I only encountered two really annoying ones so its alright - Driving anyithing Cars or Motorcycles is a pain in the ass with the Keyboard - Some attacks do not feel right yet For me everything thats bad is easly fixable and everything thats good has potential to be legendary. So I'd say this game has a lot going for it. I had a lot of astonishing experiances so far (60h) and I dont get that very often in a game.

Amazing game with technical problems

My first playthrough took me 50 hours on high difficulty. I left the world of Night City with a lot of quests unfinished or not found and 75% of gigs not done. There is a LOT to do in this game. Let me say this right away: people who claim this game is not a real RPG are straight up lying and, probably, haven't played past the prologue. Look at the dates on those "most helpful" reviews - December 10th. There is NO way you could possibly know what this game has in store after one day of playing it. I remind you, it took me 50 hours to finish one playthrough. IMO, the most notable achievement of CDPR with this title is the quality that comes with that quantity. The "real" sidequests that are marked as separate missions on your map are extremely well written, each boasting a unique and memorable experience, some of them are sure to leave you impressed. Their quality is on par with the main story itself. But then there are gigs. Which, for the most part, replace the question markers from The Witcher 3. Each one of those still has a small story attached to it, often a unique location to explore and some small choices to make. The story itself is, obviously, really damn good as well. All in all, this game explores a lot of different themes really well. Bravo, the writing team (and yes, your choices do matter). The shooting was surpirsingly well done. Having played Destiny I didn't felt like it was lacking in any way. Dunno about the melee combat. RPG elements are in abundance. Most of the perks give you really interesting and impactful boosts. Your playstyle is also defined by your implants and weapons. There is a lot of possibilities for experimentation in this game. I'd love to say much more, but I'm running out of space. Overall, this game is MUCH better than a lot of those first day reviews make it out to be. Better try it for yourself, but after it's patched (if you can wait). There are quite a lot of technical problems that can sour your experience.

Cyberpunk still has potential

I was sure to keep my expectations somewhere in the middle during the delays, and I am glad cause throughout my playthrough it's been aight. I loved the customization of the character, but the fact that you can't change it after that is a huge dissapointment. I thought that was the whole thing with an RPG like this. That you can change your whole body with implants and your looks. But for some reason you can't? I don't understand that choice to be honest. Even my body type would be cool to change throught the game with my "eddies" I earn from jobs. The same goes for vehicles. Why can't I customize my car or bike? That seem obvious to include in the game. Pay a few "eddies" for a new paintjob, or drop a fat engine in to a smaller car would have been dope! But alas that is not the case. Please make this happen cdpr! Gameplay wise I have had few issues. Luckily on PC it has not been as bad as it is on consoles. Can't really complain about the mechanics so that is probably the best part of the game so far. The story is quite interesting, but forgettable. It sucks to say that but compared to Witcher 3 this far from what one expected. Although some characters a really likeable and especially Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand. Can only hope the DLC's are gonna offer a more rich story. The RPG elements of this game is far from what they promised. But hey, I have had a pretty solid experience from the game and I wanna support CDPR cause I know they can make this game insanly good. I would recommend this game but let them know that it's not a finished game at the moment, and that waiting till early 2021 or mid 2021 would be worth it.

Bugs galore but I love the game

So far I’ve put over 24 hours into Cyberpunk. I love it. The game is beautiful, especially with ray tracing enabled. The story is great so far. I’m really invested in it. Definitely worth your time if you’re on the fence. The bugs are always there, random glitches so far for me have included my car crashing and then pinging across the map, random floating objects and characters not speaking. Oh and the subtitles (which I’ve disabled cause I find subtitles annoying) get locked on the screen when I jack in to something. I imagine these will be fixed ASAP though. Overall I love the game, definitely worth a purchase. It’s been getting a lot of hate recently and I think some people have chosen to look over the great moments as well. If you’re looking for something to invest a lot of time into then this is certainly the game!
