Good but unfinished

This is a PC review where after the day 0 and day 2 patches the game is... playable. A few bugs here and there, a crash every few hours, but nothing serious. I sympathize with the console folk, as they were pretty much scammed. This game shouldn't have even been released to old-gen consoles. Pros: - Beautifully crafted world with extreme detail (texture of leather on car seats etc.) - True delivery and mix of various cyberpunk styles (Blade Runner, Altered Carbon etc.) - Not many vehicles, but they are all crafted beautifully (way more detail than GTA V) and driving them feels surprisingly satisfying (despite driving not being a focus of this game) - Interesting main story and mostly interesting side missions - Keanu Reeves delivers, but other voice actors are great too - Fallout 4-style gunplay and RPG system (if you like it) Cons: - The game was clearly released in an unpolished state. If you want a perfect shiny game, check back in 6-12 months. Lots of bugs, silly graphical glitches, maybe even missing features. - Skills, perks and cyberware are quite uninteresting. This is not Deus Ex where every implant gives you a cool new ability. Most of them just increase stats. - Customization of weapons, vehicles and clothing are nonexistent. What you got is what you will have. Hopefully this will be addressed in a future DLC. - Much of the errand-type side missions are pure grind. The game has loads of potential, but looks like it had to be released as it is. I think CDPR severly miscalculated the amount of time it would take to finish the game properly. I believe however that it will transform from a good game to a GREAT game in about 2 years. Also believe that CDPR's reputation is now tarnished. :(

Great but I hoped for more

A lot to work on but I have a lot of fun so far. - Plot and the side quests are great but I would really like for the origins to have more substance to them. In Dragon Age Origins they were a miniature stories themselves, but here they are a simple explanation of how you ended up where the game really starts (As a Corpo could not I hire a crew attempt the "job", fail and be saved by Jackie, it would be so much more memorable!) - Fighting/sneaking/hacking are all enjoyable but nothing groundbreaking - Bugs, It seems to be Arkham Knight case. They are real and serious but apart from rare visual bugs I personally had no problems at all (on weak PC so low settings) - The one thing that is absolutely stunning is the Night City itself, the world they have greated is incredible. To sum up for me It is definitely worth playing and I am going to clear the whole map, but if you want to experirnce it in full glory waiting 1 or 2 months may be necessary.

The game is great congrats!!

I loved all about it, the level of detail, art direction, characters, its all there, there are only 3 things that bother me: -Wacky support fox ultra wide screens, while in game resolution displays as intended, the menus are showing black bars on the sides, in photo mode i´m unable to reach controls with my cursor because they are out of the 16:9 boundary, also sometimes the black bars apear on the sides after you die and restart checkpoint. -It looks really really great but i think it could be way more optimized -Some minor glitches like floating objects, npc´s sliding through the floor and cars get jamed out of nothing. I understand that the circumstances while working on this were not the best, and even through that you guys managed to deliver a really cool experience, i litteraly just spent hours and hours exploring the city and admiring it, it is just incredible. This is more than just a game, it is an awesome experience, keep the good work, i´ll happily and patiently wait for fixes in the future.

Has problems, but can deal with them.

I used to play with less than optimal setups, right now i have a gtx 1060 3gb, so graphics are not the greatest, nor fps, that said, i dont really care, i don't really need 60fps, 45-55 are mor than enopught to me if they are stable, wich in my case are, i had no problem with stabillity, just minor glitches. Maybe cos of that i can give the game a high score. I'm 45h in and i'm loving it. Love the game, love the narrative, love the design. Gameplay is solid, not the most fluent one but i can change between stealth and relatively fluid combar without problems (something i do a lot cos i tend to suck at stealth). I tend to play with a Xbox One controler wich simplyfies controls to my liking but sometimes change to mouse and keyboard when i need more precission without problems. Lets be real, it's buggy, models render on test/show positions, cars appear from nowhere, menus oppens and closes instantly, lights flicker, sometimes you get stuck on geometry.... It Has Problems, but i can deal with them, so far nothing game breaking, nothing that has made me regret my purchase. I Like This Game and i can't wait to see more of what's to come.

One of my new favorite games...

Cyberpunk 2077 is a beautiful game with one of the best stories and worlds. That said the game doesnt have, an RP walk key, has a ton of bugs that hinder the game in big ways. THe police system is very primal and not good, I am not a fan of getting into a firefight with the cops and having 10 spawn behind me. Other than those major issues that i've found so far i have at least enjoyed my 70+ hour playthrough. Gunfighting feels great, stealth is a wonderful rewarding experience, and the NPC's in the game that have an impact on V are all so well written and voice acted. This game has a ton of Greatness to come and CDPR sees that, lets's just hope they keep this going and make this game perfect to how the envision it.
