I want to like the game but...

I like stories, characters and a potential for a great immersion but it fails hard to the deliver the last! promised but failed - stupid AI - stupid NPC's - missing content Quality - missing audio and text during conversations. just template oder nothing at all - strange pauses during conversations - driving physic. like at some places you cannot drive and going backwards just stutters or exploding cars or collision stuff - in the far cars are spawing like crazy and dissapearing right after - stuck cars on the highways - making turrets friendly makes them stupid. they are no help - loading a save game. you are suddenly not able to throw granedes - menu is NOT intuitive - not able to change keyboard keybindings. defaults suck - broken keypress recognition - spawning police behind me and killing me! Stupid! even in NCPD missions they are targeting me for helping solving the crime - sneaking is partly broken. some sounds like dropping a body behind a thick wall and door triggers the gang members Trust - you as a company lost my trust. I bought an 2800€ PC for enjoying holiday in this messy year with CP. I rather have waited some more years! - as a software dev myself I do know that devs guaranteed said this is not finished we need better management, other proccess and so on. management often fucks up this part! we already read that on the internet and other companies so many times. - not threating devs and artists well - some stupid metacritic boni and crunch-time to release a "beta" game just because managements says so. - then you managed to lie that the console performance is "well". feeling bad for these customers - then you managed to lie again that in january/feb it will be a better experiance. Thats not rational. your coworkers need a break. and the pile of todos is not going to be magically disapear in that short time. Performace my pc 5600x with nvm, 32gb and 3090 and the fps are still dropping from ~50-55 to 30-37 on ANY res!

Could have been the best!

As the title says, this could have been the best! The story, soundtrack, graphics, just about everything is fantastic! . . But the bugs and problems were just too many. From simple things like textures not loading to more serious things like softlocks, boss fight issues, and falling through the map just killed any immersion especially when issues happened at the end of the game. Another real shame is that I know CDPR will fix this eventually but a little too late here since GOG doesn't let people edit their reviews (unless they change that policy later). 2020's last middle finger.

Very good game

I know that this game isn't perfect, and probably it is not best game ever created but indeed it is a good game with lots off stuff. Little bit buggy but I am sure many fix will be fixed like the witcher (while playing i had no major issues from my point o view). Game is very entertaining, the plot is well designed. There are some issues with enemies, sometimes they behave very weird. I recommend it trully.

Not bad, but now that i expected...

The main story is nice, Silverhand is a very charismatic character, V is also almost as good, but not as good, and maybe is personal choice, but i think Geralt is way more charismatic and enjoyable to read/listen to. Graphics are superb but engine optimization is bad. There are many bugs and also a simple mistake in one of the many missions you perform leaves you out of performing a 'secret' ending. The endings of the game are kinda meh all of them. Music too repetitive, specially the combat one. Car driving physics is fun and awful at the same time, you can literally blow everything with your car, trees, people, lights, etc, etc.. IA is terrible.. Enemy IA just too easy to beat, Citizens gets scared too easily, even just punching the air while you're in the other side of a street they will cower or just scream and run away, even if you're just double tapping and dodging close to them they will scream and leave running away. Cops teleports in your face, there is no real chase, wanted system. Remapping keys is bad. I could keep going on, but overall, i would recommend you buy the game after almost half year if not more until they patched it and added more fixes and other stuff around.

Game is not ready yet

Unfortunately the game is not ready yet. Many bugs need to be ironed out, much optimization has to be made in order to be able to run it smootly on budget hardware and the keyboard and mouse controlers are very lacking. I believe the issues will be fixed in the future and be a great experience. But right now its very underwhelming and I can't recommend it unless you don't mind some bugs and have a great computer to run the game.
