Remove useless launcher

I have launcher already named Gog Galaxy. I don't need any other launcher. Remove this DRM crap. For those who don't like launcher, add "--launcher-skip" parameter to skip this useless launcher I love the game, I don't like one more useless step to run the game, I don't like to be logged in one more service I gave no consent (hello, RODO!)

Awful

This is among the clunkiest games i've ever played. Cars handle like garbage, so just tweak an ini file because lord knows the devs can't be bothered to fix anything meaningful, too busy adding texting your girlfriends i suppose. I have yet to see a cop, too busy being on rails in a building thats way bigger on the inside than it looks on the outisde like 30000 sq ft inside compared to 1200 outside. T-posing is still a thing even in 1.5, happened to me immediately after starting a new game. Guns have no life, everything feels the same, the AI is attrocious, the optimization is non existant, the only saving grace that I can even come up with is that it looks half decent. With all the bells and whistles on the game looks great, but that is not enough to overcome even a quarter of the bugs and garbage gameplay that i've seen in only my ~6ish hour game tme. I'm glad I got this on a steep discount because if I had paid even half price for this garbage i would have refunded instantly. Do yourself a favour and stay far away.

Untapped potential

The world of this game is an artistic achievement that speaks volumes about the ambition of the studio behind it. Got it on release date and was completely blown away by it. Gameplay-wise, on PC, the game was somewhat ok, far better than the console versions. Still though, a string of bad decisions made this a rushed, sub-par release based on the enormous expectations. If you ever read Neuromancer, or have been a fan of Blade Runner or Ghost in the Shell and Akira, Night City will be a non-stop high for you. Playing through the missions you will slowly realise the undeniable potential of this world and system. Here, you can have all the stories you ever dreamed of, in one colossal, finely detailed and fairly complex place. The stage is set and it runs well on my RX480 gpu. It just needs more missions, more characters, more story and more fun mechanics. There is so much to tap into that is exciting. The body modifications, the weapons, the cars, the gadgets, the secrets, the gangs, the romances, the corp wars, the netrunning, the conspiracies, the skill trees, the moral pathways, the business opportunities, the urban legends and the corruption echoes from the top leaders down to the rainy street thugs. Greed, lust, ambition, dreams, balance, identity, mind and cybertechnology, culture and personality, code and DNA. So much to wait for. I think, even now, CPR have the opportunity of their lifetime with Night City. All they need is to work on more story and content, as soon as they stabilize the base game. I wish some of the developers would read this. I wish they feel the same way and execute on it. If the expansions are great, you will NoMan'sSky yourselves to the top. This is still your moment.

Great story, sadly lots of bugs

The story was great, there is lots of stuff to do in Night City but the amount of bugs, glitches and crashes runied the experience for me. Also, the amount and severity of these bugs/glitches/crashes increase the more you have played//the futher you got into the game One thing that stands out is the police system, is way to simple and compared to similar games like GTA it's absolute trash: When you commit a crime the police spawns directly near you almost immediately, to make them give up you just have to travel a specific distance away from the crime scene and that's it. They won't first have to arrive at the scene, no chases, no way to hide, just dive a few miles away and your good. It doesn't even matter how many stars you have. This could have been the game that destorys the GTA franchise and shows them how to make a good game without beeing greedy. 9 years of development, and that's what came out of it.. I really want to know what went wrong here. But still, I hope that there will be more updates and more fixes coming and that the devs haven't given up yet, with the sales numbers increasing it should give them more budget for improvements anyway.
