I can deal with the occasional bug, but this game runs like sh!t, if I turn everything down to low I get between 60 and 90 fps while running around which is great and the game manages to look good even at the lower settings until getting into combat that is and the game becomes a stuttery mess which makes it hard to even aim... I got a gtx 1080 so unless you are one of the lucky ones that manage to buy one of the latest GPUs don't even bother atm hopefully they will fix it soon enough
No transmog so your character looks like a clow as you need higher tiered gear for tougher enemies so you don’t get one shot but instead of looking, you know, like a cool cyberpunk you end up looking like a clown because there’s no transmog for the actual good looking clothes.
My character floats when hacking, T poses everywhere, guns floating like a field in a farmers backyard, there’s no way to sort weapons and lock in your current ones in use so you end up accidentally selling all your weapons and before you realise you go to buy them back but just one will cost your entire net worth, did I mention eddies? Yeh very hard to come by so good luck buying a car you know the best way to transverse the city and while where on cars the driving sucks, like really, really sucks bad. Controller optimisation (I play on PC with a controller for this game because driving sucks so bad KBM is even worse so you have no choice, for me anyway) but the physical presets for controller are just terrible and even when you fix it it’s still terrible.
Game breaking bugs where NPC’s just disappear, people in the world just pop in or disappear, quest markers point in the wrong area or just disappear all together and you have to restart a mission midway through it and it just kills the immersion.
There’s honestly so much wrong with this game it’s not even funny, it should have been delayed even longer and never released in it’s current state. I could keep going but won’t as the issues are just to many to count and I just got to the title screen after the initial 6 hours prelog.
Honestly I’m lost for words, wait for a deep, deep sale or just wait until they patch this mess.
The game in it's current state is literally unplayable for me. I can't make it past the tutorials for any of the backstory without it crashing. I've tried every fix on CDPR's forums, and still haven't been able to make it deeper than 30 minutes into the game. I'm a long-time gamer and this is the first game I've had issues with, and if you look at the 50+ pages of customer complaints, you'll see I'm not the only one.
I've contacted CDPR support, and got a standard reply email telling me that due to COVID it could be a few weeks until I hear back from the company. CDPR has yet to address these issues to the public, further making this situation worse.
As it stands, I'd get as far away from this game as possible. I've been a big CDPR fan for years, and made it through The Witcher 3 launch; I simply can't support the company after this blunder. Bugs happen, but if your game is so riddled with errors that multiple consoles are useless, and a huge number of your PC players can't load the game, you've failed terribly.
We deserved better. I hope customers are either given prompt refunds or CDPR gets bug fixes out this weekend. It's completely unacceptable to release a product that doesn't work for a large part of your player base, and then expect them to sit around for months while you work out the bugs.
Before the game launch, my biggest gripe was 1st person in a RPG game where you can customize you character but I still gave it change. I rode high on the hype train and decided to give it a go, CDPR promised so much and delivered so little.
My biggest issue with the game:
1. V: He/She never felt like I am role playing that character
2. Relationships: Other than Jackie, Misty and Victor, no body even came close to feel like it's a real relationship
3. Too much questing and Lore thrown at once: Unlike Witcher, you don't understand the lore naturally as game progresses. Faction lore is totally missing.
4. 3Rd person perspective: I really miss it. I know some ppl don't care.
5. Sex: Total let down.
Tbh, it feels like I am playing just another GTA.
Pre ordered, pre instsalled, updated on release day, all set to play, played for less than ten minutes then crash to desktop on all three characters. Always when you reach the same point. I've spent more time sending in crash reports than actauuly playing the game. Complete waste of time, will be asking for a refund
