Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk is an incredible game, written really well with character characters, with a lore of the game world that immerses you in a cyberpunk universe in an incredibly unique and engaging way. All this if we add a Night City that is unique in the videogame world with attention to the smallest details and that with graphic quality from medium up manages to guarantee a visual quality and a unique way to approach this fantastic world (even without RTX, I'm playing it on a GTX 1070 waiting for an RTX 3070). The ability to customize V's abilities makes the game very varied and with unique and varied approaches throughout the game experience. Unfortunately, however, this is ruined in the gameplay by a truly painful AI worthy of a low budget game and not of an AAA like Cyberpunk 2077, at times worse than many other noble titles, and which as a whole makes it very simple and fast to carry out close activities and to circumvent and kill enemies in an overly simplistic way, nullifying the excellent variety of buildings. The AI ​​of the characters in the world is very basic and frustrates the immersion in the world. The game is studded with bugs but this one in my opinion is no different from many other such huge open world titles. Unfortunately to add to all of this we have a lot of promises made during development that don't exist in the game, and it's really very sad. I hope in my heart these things can come in the future with as many DLCs as CD Projekt RED has always accustomed us to. In the end, however, the game deserves so much to be played and to experience a magnificent journey to Night City in the hope of future patches that can not only fix the bugs but add everything that is missing. 80/100

This game has bugs, for the most part they have been minor for me with only one affecting the completion of a side mission (someone that I need appears to have wondered off); that said very few games are flawless on launch. The quickfixes are coming and in time the bugs will be squashed and the replayability of the game will come into its own. Night City is beautiful and will challenge the most aggressive of set ups, perhaps only the next generation of graphics cards will truly be able to handle it - particularly if you want to enjoy the ray traced graphics at a decent frame rate. Otherwise this is a game that you can play and also enjoy, even if you have to dial the settings down a little

Like Fallout is a game that depicts sci-fi as if it were created through the lens of someone living in the 1950s, Cyberpunk is a game that envisions a dystopian future from the perspective of the 1980s. The cyberpunk genre took root in the 1980s and the themes present in this game are very much honest to the genre. Growing up in Los Angeles in the 1980s I find the tropes, motifs and depictions of groups (gangs, corporations etc) accurately recreates a cyberpunk universe that is true to the origins of the genre. Kudos to CDPR for staying true to the setting as they did with the Witcher. I compare Cyberpunk to Witcher 3 and furthermore Cyberpunk is not Skyrim, or GTA. Night City is Novigrad, but bigger, and obviously with a trashy/edgy/sci-fi vibe. My largest criticism, however, is that I found the characters in the witcher series more likable. And to say that playing Geralt is far more entertaining and fun than playing V is an understatement. In truth, CDPR created an amazing game world with a lot of depth, and potential for future expansion and modding. While I have heard many criticisms about facade-ish NPCs I wonder how this is any different than a Witcher style game. And while the only personality I can play is V, there is A LOT of customization regarding the type of class you can play and how you approach missions. Fighter builds, stealth builds, mage builds etc, and to me that is the essence of roleplaying (old schoold DnD PnP..) Lastly, I did want to comment on bugs. Companies need to release products and fix fast. Talking of delays and crunch is gaming media discussing an industry they simply do not undertand. The complexities of deploying are beyond the medias understanding and will not be solved with simplistic solutions. While Cyberpunk has bugs, it goes with the RPG genre, and I don't remember the last time a complex evolutionary RPG was released without a lot of bugs (New Vegas, Daggerfall, Arcanum...)

Idk why ppl posted a review at the day of the release. How much can you play for 24 hours? IMO the game has incredible main and side quest for their narrative, acting and variety. You can play a (mostly) stealth game with parkour, or you can play a mix of doom eternal and 3D hotline miami, the choise is yours. The endings make sence and there are 4+ 1 secret. The world outside of the quests is ok, could be better or worse. There are a lot of bugs and slow texture loading (luckily my biggest bug was getting stuck in a shelf, making a quicksafe useless), the AI is stupid, especially in cars, it can feel a bit grindy, if you want to lvl up or get a lot of crafting materials, but there are a lot of quests. And you need a good pc to get the game running smooth. TLDR Pros: story, characters, gameplay, dence world, secrets, music, Keanu Reeves Cons: bugs, stupid AI, texture problems, could be a bit grindy, you cant romance Keanu Reeves Conclusion: I think most of the negatives would be fixed in time (wait if you're not tolerant to bugs) and the game would thruthly shine. I put 48 hours for 7 days at the end of the semester (rn im at 80) and I am far from over. An amazing game, that couldve been more polished, if the corpos didn't make devs adapt it to current gen consoles.

It seems like people are review bombing this game for no reason. If you expect to play an in-depth RPG with a great story, good gameplay and killer art/graphics this is your game. If you think this is a flawless shooter that you can run on ultra with hardware from 3 generations ago, you'll be disapointed.
