Awesome game! Captivating voice acting and characters, immersive world, slick action and a high cyper-tech approach on problems. It's like Fallout + GTA + Mass Effect + net new style/concepts.
This game is pretty good, I only encountered some minor bugs nothing game-breaking but all of that can be patched. Witcher 3 was not the better when it came out only with a few update the witcher 3 became GOTY.
It's December 24th, 2000, my stepfather (a royal asshole most of the time) called me downstairs and handed me a copy of Baldur's Gate II. I immediately ran back to my room, installed the game (4 dvds, it took an hour to do so) and spent the entire Christmas break in Fearun. The first of many playthroughs and one of the fondest memories of my childhood years. And as time goes by, though the game has aged and became outdated, no other came close to Bioware's classic in terms of invoking these feelings of pure joy, excitement and engagement.
That is, until 2015, when Witcher III came out… And December 10th, 2020.
Some may say that the bugs are disgraceful, the gameplay is dated or that it does not live up to the hype. But in my opinion, we do not play games to analyze their individual components, we play, because of how they make us feel. Cyberpunk 2077 makes me feel like it's Christmas twenty years ago, and for me, there is no higher praise.
This game looks great on my mid-ish tier PC. 1660 Ti and Radeon 7 3800X. Very smooth FPS, looks AMAZING, combat is a challange on hard. No crashes, a few minor graphical glitches. I wish the perk respec was cheaper.
Picked this up solely based on the experience of the Witcher games which had an awesome story & stellar immersion, CP2077 doesn't dissapoint in this department. 0 Crashes on a 50 hour playthrough with noticeable bugs but none that were gamebreaking or blatantly ridiculous, you can tweak settings to get 60 FPS on a 1660 TI on 1440P which was surprising but the game could definitly use some more optimization in this department.
If you go into this expecting another CDPR game and you won't be dissapointed.
