used to hammer this game back in the day , what a brilliant nostalgic blast from the past , only thing i would improve is if it could be patched for a 4k monitor unless i am missing something . Still great fun none the less

I've played the game for about an hour and cannot take it anymore. - The controls of building roads or tracks are maddening. Especially trying to rework existing tracks is just a huge pain. - The train signals are bare bones at best and do not seem to work reliably (but that might be a me problem) - You cannot look at town buildings to see how many passengers/mail they produce or what they accept - To build a station you first need to lay down some tracks. So you cannot easily see what a station accepts/produces - There is no in-game display of the goods cycle - There are many inconsistencies in the UI and many actions feel like the require one or two click too many to accomplish On the plus side: - Once the tracks are down they look quite beautiful and seem far more organic than in Transport Tycoon - The graphics themselves are nice - The music, while largely the same style as in Transport Tycoon is still good - I love the inclusion of scenarios

I love this game and I would give it a 5/5 star but I wont, because the gog version of this game has multiplayer disabled. I suggest to other people that really want to play this game to just go out and buy it straight from Atari (https://www.atari.com/buy-games/simulation/chris-sawyers-locomotion) its more expensive but at least it has multiplayer and a working CD key =/ I love gog but why the fuck no multiplayer... Why? There is also the option of OpenTTD it is free and has multiplayer And Yes multiplayer makes this game a hell of a lot more fun to play.

oh man this game takes me back this game is great fun a bit of a pain trying to get your trucks to do what you want but overall i love this game. this game and simgolf are the only 2 games i have left on disc from back in the day

I have enjoyed this game for many years.
