Alone in the Dark: The Trilogy 1+2+3

It's unfortunately been outclassed by nearly everything it inspired, but man, is it a different type of horror game than you see these days with a decidedly normal protagonist. I can't really add much to what everyone else has said. The game was instrumental in establishing the survival horror genre. I still enjoy playing it, mostly for nostalgia. I owned the floppy disk version when I was a kid, so I was surprised when the music had a higher quality to it. While I readily acknowledge the music quality is better here (I'm assuming it came from a later cd-rom release) I find myself yearning for the original music.

I too own all original CDs of AITD 1-2-3 but waited patiently when these wonderful games appear on GOG. Now I am rewarded! This is true classic of horror survival games - a MUST HAVE in every collection.

Simply the best Graphic Adventure of all time. Defines a genre and is the bigdaddy of all the survival horrors.

I remember this from the 90's, man those were good times.
