Did not live up to the Hype for me.
I bought this game on steam when it first came out. I enjoyed the game up until about half way through the game. At that point I started feeling like I've been here, seen that, done that. Hide under bench, hide in a locker, hide in a box, etc. I like stealth games like Splinter Cell and Thief. This game did not seem anything like them to me. It felt very repetitive after the half way point. The looks very good, the game mechanics are good. However, doing essentially the same thing on every level got old for me. For me the game has no replay value. I played it once and I feel like I have played all I want to. I feel like the stealth approach used in the game would have made a good 3 or 4 levels in another game. However, at current prices, it is not a bad game by any means.

The very best game adaption of alien
No other adaptation captured the alien vibes this good. Not even remotely. Thats everything you need to know. Watch the first alien movie if you haven't yet and if you like it, you will love this game.

How it feels to be hunted...
Played the game long time ago, without DLCs. It is a solid survival-horror. It ends in a cliffhanger, that is why I'm substracting a star. There are a few AI issues in the game, but nothing major enough to reduce the enjoyment. This isn't the usual get a big gun and kill the xenos. You are the prey. You are being hunted. You are scared. Even when you get some weapons, they will only buy you several precious seconds to run and hide. The game FEELS like the first Alien movie. There is even DLC that replays it. Highly recommended.

One of i kind
Powerlessness combined with horror ... One can only run away and hide - *f...ck off in the sense of escaping in the cabinets like a rat. I always hoped that in the second part it would be possible to exterminate them from hiding .... as an atonement from the first part. Unfortunately, many games are a plot bottom and slaughterhouse No. 5 in one. I waited, but did not live to see ... *f...ck off like run away - Only used to emphasize the hysterical horror of the situation.
