Advent Rising

Beautiful game! Excellent Story! Probably the best third person shooter I have ever played, and hands down the most entertaining. Playing this game with THX speakers and an amazing graphics card was a BLAST!!!! The sound is amazing and the graphics get really impressive. The story drags you in too. There were some minor camera problems... I think the psychic powers much have given him cp symptoms because he wiggles a whole lot sometimes. Vehicle controls were interesting, and I didn't like them, but the abilities you get, and some of the guns as well, are unique and extremely entertaining to mess around with. I loved this game. Sequel? Probably not.. but damn I wish...

One really sneaky great game is this. I was expecting some lame, budget shooter with a clumsy engine, non-existent story and boring weapons. We get about 9 different weapons that you can level up by using them as well as 6 powers that are somehow connected to your human cells similar to Mass Effect's biotics or The Force in the Star Wars universe. The only downside is how the story is told, it was weird and somewhat clumsy as well as a few minor engine details like the world looks dead, crappy checkpoint system and inflation of dead friends. A death of a beloved is not strong if they all die. Superb game overall!

This game just isnt fun, its ugly, thats the first thing u will notice and the story, while might be cool (havent gooten that far into the game yet) is just thrown upon you in a unexciting way. worst is the endlessstream of boring and quite difficult enemies which u just autolock on and fire on until they or mostly you die. avoid this beast

What many people don't know is that this game was done by the same people who made the acclaimed Shadow Complex for Xbox LIVE Arcade. They also did Undertow for Xbox LIVE Arcade. Good games.

Leading up to this release i thought it was halo 3. Why? because it came out just after halo 2 and had the same theme. So i picked it up on a whim and i was extreamly happy with what i got, a great rpg with a story that brought me in. But sadly this will never get the sequel that it deserves. Get this game, It is worth it, it is wonderful.
