It's rough and borderline unplayable

Performance is gross, everything on low with FSR on the lowest (effectively rendering at 854x480 btw...) runs between 30-50fps with a 1070ti/5800X3D combo, not a great system but no slouch by any means what's the point of low settings in games anymore? UE5 is going to kill this hobby unless we all spend 5000 dollars on a PC every 3 years at this rate. Even my mate on a 4090 is complaining about performance, that's when you know something is wrong. Had a few crashes so far and having to compile shaders every single time I open the game is just unacceptable. if you're okay with this you're the problem as well, complacency in regards to game optimization is negligence and someone should be fired for releasing the game in such a state. "le epic jank game" is such a bad take for putting up with yet another Unreal Engine 5 slopfest and people saying it need to get real.

Lot of technical issues to be solved

I've been playing since release, and game had problems. Was playable with some stuttering after 0,5h of playing. After restart was good for another 30 minutes. Since last update (Patch 1.0.3) I've had issues with DX12, but when I managed to start the game it is unplayable even on lower settings. Few FPS even in game menu.

Worst in series

By the fourth game you expect all the basics to be sorted but this one actually got worse. Sleep function can't set wake up time. Interiors too dark and the light is like a single candle. NPCs seem lifeless and the speech function strange as the characters switch to different voices when answering questions. Map and compass just seem off and uncomfortable to use. Buying and upgrading not part off speech and require separate button pressed. All these worked before but now actually feel like a downgrade. This game has the feeling it was designed by people who never spoke to each other and functions changed on a whim. Looks like graphics were given 99% of the time and gameplay the rest.

Dissapointment.

Disappointed in the initial release as it was rushed, it should've cooked in the over for another year, half year as bare minimum. My main quest hasn't been fixed since I got to it in the early December, it's already end of May of 2025, still the quest is broken and the NPC that shouldn't be dead, is dead, and outside of the shack he was supposed to be in, and behind locked doors, yet when I got the Colonel, the optional quest of the main quest auto fails. I got tired of playing after 165h of just exploring the map because I have no progression besides getting money, gear, and weapons, to an extent. Limited in upgrading gear because I require to reach certain main quest progression. Basically I have explored 70-80% of the map, played 165h, and stuck at the main quest at the Garbage depot, which is like 3rd big quets and its underquests. Console commands do not help because for some reason there is no file or info that shows all NPC ID's to reset them. I wasted lots of time playing with console commands, reseting quests, manipulating, etc. I wish that I knew that my quest bug wouldn't be fixed for this long (still isn't), I would've refunded, but thanks to hope and trust I kept on waiting. I stopped submitting the same bug in February's update. Also, talking about updates, once a month having update is unacceptable for a broken release game. I will raise my star when my quest is fixed. It wont get 4-5 stars because it should serve developers to be more cautions and conservative.
