This game is a love letter to your childhood. If you're in your late twenties to mid-thirties, this game is made with you in mind because you will get the references, and you will be smiling through every second of it.

80s childhood. Play RCR and you will remember all the good days again.
The game itself works flawlessly on a netbook (despite of little black borders) and the game itself is only 28MB small. Not as small as Grandtheftendo would be on an NES cartridge, but damn small for a "new" game!
RCR is retro gaming at its best: Plenty of challenges, 2D-GTA gameplay, tons of references (Backread more to the Future, Star Wars,...) and a hell of a fun game! $15 is a bigger amount then it spend usually, but in this case, every little penny was worth it!

Back to the Future is my favorite movie so you would think I would like this game, and I fully expected to. But as I played more I noticed I wasn't laughing much and missions began to feel like a chore.
The game plays a lot like the original Grand Theft Auto (for the PS1), which I also didn't find very engaging. Ultimately I think YMMV, and this just didn't have the same smileread more factor that I got from games like Double Dragon Neon.
For reference I'm 32, which seems to be right in the middle of the target audience for this.
