- <span class="bold">Hacknet</span>
- <span class="bold">Hyper Light Drifter</span>
- <span class="bold">Two Worlds Epic Edition</span>
- <span class="bold">8-bit Armies</span>

Ahhh good, the latest round of German updates got their newspost :P

Anyways, we hope to have some more German language updates coming soon.

BTW, I've been meaning to ask you, the German-speaking community, how would you like German language updates delivered?

Do you want us to get them out ASAP, basically individual updates here and there, or do you prefer to have a bunch of games updated with the German language in bundles like we did with the Community Language Pack?

I am of course excluding developer provided updates since we aim to release those as quickly as possible. The updates I am referring to are the ones we perform when we get the German versions from the community or source them ourselves :)

I think this depends on how fast you can offer new german versions. If it takes two weeks or so for some updates, when it is enough to announce it every two weeks (just like you do it in this thread).

But when it takes longer, it would be better to announce it ASAP. Because I think it makes no sense to wait for three or more months before you told the community that game xyz is now available in german.

Nexus was "old" news for you probably because you may have seen the update in MaGOG :P

In any case the announcement was also for those who may not frequent our forums :)

As for the rest of your reply, I'll have to get back to you as Google isn't helping any :P

Well, I hope we won't have to wait 3 months either :) In any case we have two more games, classic games no less, that are just about ready to get their German versions and I hope this will be sooner rather than later :)

I would prefer that you get them out ASAP. But I can live with the other way too (as long as we will see more german releases). :)
Hallo GOG,

Legend of Grimrock 1+2
Wolcen
Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
Populous - The Beginning
Wing Commander 4

Geht mir genauso.

I think it depends on the time lag of those updates. If you just need a few weeks to release about 4 updates (like this time) it's ok. If you need a few months, I think it's better to split the updates.
-> the current rhythm seems to be fine

Judas, if I'm not mistaken then HOMM5's German installer still uses the broken gold edition master with a couple of missing dialogues during cutscenes. That problem concerns the German gold edition master only and UbiSoft provided an official fix for it. Any chance you will add it to the GOG version? I could offer you the related files easily (~ 10 MB).

I would like them asap. I don't really care if they are bundled with other updates as well. As far as I am concerned I am happy every time I hear that a game got updated with German language (you know this) no matter if there are other games with updated German language as well. BUT it would be very nice if it would be possible (like it was stated here in the OP) to simply add every German language update also to the list in this thread. This way people who do like to have their games in German (and maybe even did not buy before because of them not having German language) won't miss them. We all know that you guys are releasing A LOT of updates and sometimes they unfortunately are not flagged or not flagged soon enough. Not everybody is following the "what did just update" thread and some don't even know that it exists since the language "spoken" there is also English only. This thread here could be a possibility to give German users an overview of additional German updates only and if this thread will be updated not too long after the update was released I am pretty sure that most would accept this and rather having the updates themselves asap. But as I said that is only my opinion.

tl;dr: For me: Please release the updates asap and keep this thread updated as soon as you find the time to have an easy overview for the German community.

I second this question. Unfortunately Daedalic won't say anything about this (they have been contacted by another GOG community member) and even on humble there is a DRM-free release with German audio for both of them. It may be that this "deal" of a DRM-free version with German language was an exclusive one to humble but in case it was not this is probably one of the most asked German versions along with "The Longest Journey" (but the latter probably still IS a legal rights problem since I know for a fact that the files for these has been offered to you by several people) so if you could at least ask again for them (Memoria and Satinav that is) it would be great.

You should write to our German support about this very issue as technical issues like this are a bit beyond me, plus it helps to keep everything organized and in one place :)
