That's it from us today. Check out our Classic EA convoy promo, and have a nice weekend! :-)

Snickersnack: "Next week's enigmatic release is not as much a classic as a well-executed tribute to classics. Whichever it is, I must admit it makes one hell of a book!"

A long shot but why not:

Ys I & II Chronicles <-- this is the latest remake of the classic Ys: Book I & II.

SCPM: It'd be awesome to have XSEED aboard! They're interested, but it looks like it'll take time:

From what I recall someone from Xseed saying sometime back the hold up on them selling the Ys games outside of Steam has been Falcom who owns and produces the Ys games, so hopefully they can convince them(Falcom) to allow them to sell outside of Steam

Barry_Woodward: TheEnigmaticT's bit at the end of the video was a reference to the song "Under The Sea" from The Little Mermaid.
actually, come to think about it, TET's bit at the end the video is probably a reference to Subwar 2050. so you could be wrong about Lucas Arts being confirmed. but if we are getting Lucas Arts games, i would be very happy, but i am not getting my hopes up.
Disney? Lucas Arts? XSEED?

Dear god, May already started and I can't wait for what's possibly in store for this month.

But of course I'll believe it when I see it.

as i said before, i would not get my hopes up about Lucas Arts, in fact i am very pessimistic right now.

The first time he uses it, yes (although he does say it in a Sebastian-ish way), but in the last few seconds he says it again and doo-waps part of The Little Mermaid song.

sometimes at least, the Easter eggs that GOG.com puts in their episodes of This week on GOG have nothing to do with the hint for next weeks release, but a release that already happened that week. like say this episode for example, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rdaO1jJWG0 this was from the week before GOG.com released Clive Barkers undying. the Easter egg at the end might have had something to do with Secret Agent which was released that week.

DISNEY (AND LUCASARTS) CONFIRMED!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdwPGZi-3yQ
Ehhh ... maybe, as others have said it is possible it was a subwar reference. If it was a hint to a new publisher with classic titles it could also be a Bioshock reference :P (though seriously 2K is one of the remaining "big" publishers GOG is hoping to sign).

If it is Disney though ... that would be pretty awesome.
Yeah, well, let's not get ahead of ourselves here. The month has only just started, after all.
it could be many references. For instance. That easter egg refers to Disney and Disney owns Marvel and Lucas Arts. Now given that Marvel items wouldn't make a big splash there is another point to consider. Steam has put their ENTIRE catalog of Lucas Arts items up for either 66% off each or half off the entire collection. Now this is probably a red herring in a sea of red herrings, but the reason for the sale may be 1 of 3 things. 1: they are going to no longer be sold (probable case of what could happen THQ assets as they change ownership but they weren't removed from Steam), it's just your normal, everyday sale, OR it's a sale because a deal has been signed for LA games on GOG. Personally I pray it's the third and not the first because it's sad what they have become and no one wants to see the games disappear.
Well, the only Easter egg I caught before this one's (nice singing, btw) was the "Legen- wait for it..." bit in the video that announced Daikatana. I thought that was interesting, and I will probably check the older vids for more Easter eggs.

1 Lucas Arts did NOT make their ENTIRE catalog on Steam 66% off, just their Star Wars games.
2 i think i read that Lucas Arts confirmed that their games that are already on Steam will remain available.
3 the sale is to celebrate Star Wars day.
