MadalinStroe: Eschalon: Book 1&2 maybe?
Ahhh, Eschalon, the game where the main villain is boredom and trying not to fall asleep while crossing an empty map with a character who moves like a slug. There may be a good game under the hood, but I'm not going to waste my time staring at those tile graphics doing nothing, and yet there are people who cry blasphemy at the idea of offering an option to increase walking speed.

triock: Another one I already played. :D
I haven't and really want to :)
From the Fez segment of the video:

"It's probably a good idea to take some notes while you're playing, maybe even a whole spreadsheet, to keep track of all the secrets you encounter."
...That was appropriately mean. XD

Okay... "one hell of a book"... Tribute to classic = retro-style indie game. Book... = story? Hell... = underground? ??? (I know I have a weird way of thinking...)

You definately should. It's amazing, until you get guns. Then it's just ok, but still worth playing

Prenumbra was fun, even with guns... Sometimes limited ammo works better than no guns at all.
"Under the sea" :-)

Vitek: "Under the sea" :-)
"In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming"
could be. But my experience with this game was:

dafuq, everybody single person in this town is out for my blood and I can't defend myself. Run! Hide! Die! Restart! Oh, a gun. Fight back, die as it's clearly insufficient. Then get another (bigger) gun, fighting back starts being an option, and suddenly I'm playing a shooter. That's when it stopped being amazing, but that's just me.
Jules Verne?

Moonbeam: Jules Verne?
This? :D https://secure.gog.com/wishlist/games/voyage_inspired_by_jules_verne
There are quite a few games inspired by his novels.

I know, but I played this one and I liked it. ;)

edit: and here's an incomplete list of games based on works by Jules Verne

Thanks, think any of them would be good.

Return to Mysterious Island is already on GOG.
As far as I know Eschalon Books are already confirmed by the developer to be released on gog, so with that description I would say it's very "very" likely we will see the first two releases here soon...

Edit: Talking about Jules Verne, there is also a game called Journey ro the moon from Microids/Anuman. Maybe we will see it also someday here, it's already available for a long time on dotemu.
