Survival of the sweetest.

Long Live the Queen, a complex political thriller full of violence, hate, and tough choices, masked by deceptively cute visuals, is available on GOG.com for only $9.99.

Long Live the Queen is a brutal game. Your heroine will try to escape the many dangers awaiting a young heiress to the throne, and will often fail, ending up dead, leaving the kingdom at mercy of it's many enemies. Luckily, you'll be able to back up on your mistakes, probably just to witness another death of the princess. When you're but a child, suddenly burdened by the crushing weight of responsibility, every little decision you make might prove to be your last. This complex and challenging royalty sim will crush your hopes many times, before you manage to protect the princess until the day of her coronation. There are secret plots at play, invaders at the gates, dark magical forces hiding in plain sight, assassins lurking in the shadows, and way too many suitors trying to get their hands on the young heiress' heritage. With non-linear gameplay, and great depth this cute-looking title will take even the most experienced gamer by surprise!

If you thought that the life of a princess is full of bliss, ballroom dancing, cotton candy, and ponies, it's about time you faced the terrifying truth in Long Live the Queen, for only $9.99 on GOG.com.
Kawaii!
Lol, what a strange release. The 2nd pic gives me all the information I need about this one.
WTF??!!?!?!

Looks like Academagia had a baby and every Visual Novel ever made is hoping he's not the father.

Having said that, I'm intrigued.

Really? Not the third one? Because that one is just, I don't even. Just. That's. Moving on then!

Yeah. Do not see myself picking this up anytime soon. Or ever. Back to Fallout I go!
"my what large breasts you have"
:D
Truly fascinating release.
Hmmm.. is this a clone of the Princess Maker saga from Gainax?

I love the fact that GOG picked this screen to show. Given their propensity for highlighting the (ahem) assets of any given game in the gamecard, they sure know their target audience. Well, me anyway. :P
Remind me of "princess maker" need this ^^
I hope the depth underlying beneath all this kawaiiness is REALLY deep to make it worth even releasing on GOG.
O_O;

...wishlisted.

I'm sure game is "deep" in some places. I'm sure everyone will play it for the "plot".

4th pic: Duke of Maree. Age 31. "You realize that you have just admitted to all your guests that you and I are having an affair."

Overview text: Being a Princess is not an easy job. Being a Queen is even harder. Especially when you're only fourteen years old...

. . . ? Seriously? I will be interested to see some reviews on this. I really hope I am reading it wrong. I hope that inside it's a, I don't know, political intrigue masterpiece or something. Please.
There must be SOMETHING about this game...its original release was even mentioned on Rock Paper Shotgun.

Odd that this game, out of the masses, got a mention and a release here.
Oh, dear... The main page should have been tagged with a "NSFW" label.
