I suspect the recent Ubisoft releases were more to do with CD Projekt RED allow Uplay to sell The Witcher 3 Expansion Pass on discount (before it was even discounted at GOG). EA hasn't release a game on GOG for ages.

Bend over and kiss our asses. Ubisoft has indeed released a couple of newer games here and i'm very glad for that, however we haven't seen anything in the last couple of years from EA. I would for example love to see NFS Porsche here, though probably the license expired for that.. or at least the newer Bioware games. One can dream....

it seemed like EA was cool for a while there, but I guess not.

The best way to show your support is to put your money where your mouth is and buy the game. Maybe send them an email with a thank you for releasing the game, but money is what talks.

True but some people already own all the EA games here! (Not me admittedly) :-P
---
Here's a question that some knowledgeable person might answer: how long do distribution contracts like these usually last? 5 years? I'm just curious if 2016 is the year EA finally pulls out of here, since they appeared here in 2011 (correct?), but then again you'd think Activision would have pulled out by now.

If there were true, I wish CDPR had done the same thing with EA and selling Witcher 3 on Origin. ---

I don't know but I can imagine they could even run indefenitely but with a cancelation period, or they can be canceled regularly (every year or so) with an automatic prolongation if not canceled. Why do you think Activision might have pulled out by now?
