Since no one has said it yet, I guess I will do it: Buy Realms of the Haunting.

I know, the younger in here may hesitate after looking at the screenshots but actually it is a ridiculously good game sold at a ridiculous price. The graphics may be dated but the atmosphere is there; just push your "go back in time" button and you'll be fine I tell you! Oh, and the FMVs are good too!

As for the controls, well, truth to be told they aren't very good. You'll get accustomed to them eventually, but there is a possibility they'll drive you mad. I played the game when it was released so I just dealt with them the hard way (no remapping) and when I replayed it last year, I just kept the default configuration once more. Should you find them difficult for you, know that you can't remap them from inside the game - it is only possible via DOS Box and maybe via some file in the game's directory (although I'm not sure about the latter).

TL; DR: Buy it, it's good, it's cheap, it's a pity if you don't try it at least.
Already own the games that i wanted from this promo .

I keep forgetting to buy it, sadly this time it's not happening.

Same here so my wallet is safe. :D

MightyPinecone: Nah he was probably just implying that they were working on fixing the bug that made it impossible to both offer non-Germans the Commandos games and at the same time offer the Germans a sale at all.

blakstar: Ah, OK -- I was sort of hoping my wallet would be weeping. :-)
I'm sure gog has their top men working on it. ;-)
Wow, Guilty Gear Isuka soundtrack is really cool :)
Quite possibly my favourite promo since I've joined the site. There's a high proportion of genuinely interesting games on this list. I'm still amazed that Deadly Premonition made it onto GOG in any shape or form, and at that price I'm happy to buy it again here so I can preserve this post-modern disasterpiece for my alien time capsule.
I'll be picking up Tri. To be honest, I actually totally forgot GOG sold that game. It does look like a nice little puzzler. In addition, I'll snatch up Nosferatu because for 59 cents: why the hell not? ;) Oh, and let's not forget about Strife. That's #1 on my pile o' games.
A few GOGs there.

It was a nice game alright, but it was a pity that GOG couldn't offer the US version which did allow some partial remapping within game. Fortunately, a GOG member has uploaded a UK to US patch in the game's subforum.

Grargar:
Thanks again.
Nice promo. Wasn't that interested in what I didn't own already, but I picked up Litil Divil and Soulbringer anyway, can't argue with the price...
Neat Weekend Promo, nice variety and and great prices.

Is this the only difference between the UK and US versions?

There are also difficulty settings in the US version, both for combat and for puzzles (the latter one doesn't necessarily increase the difficulty of the puzzles, but just forces you to select an item on your own instead of auto-selecting it for you).

Thanks, looks like I have to play it again with this patch.
