Vulkan support for CryEngine has been delayed:

Is there any program in the debian repository that uses Vulkan to display some graphics?

I have got vulkaninfo running successfully on my machine, but I want to see whether it actually works for displaying graphics.

I don't think there are any. You'd need to compile Vulkan tests from source.
Vulkan and Star Citizen: https://m.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/53krrh/star_citizen_linux_version_confirmed/
Sweet. I wonder what hardware support is like in Linux for various esoteric flight controller systems, head trackers etc. I haven't investigated for ages. Would certainly be great to be able to play such a game under Linux with a potpourri of expensive hardware though.
They always planned Linux version of SC, so this doesn't look like news. So far they didn't specify any ETA however.
Finally got chance to try out Vulkan; about 30 fps increase! :)

Nice :) On what game?

Doom. I would have tested on other games too but It's to much hassel to download DOTA or a other Vulkan game simply for checking out the gain. If you like I can do more extensive testing on Doom. You'll have to tell me what settings to test at though.
For the ones that have a Linux OS, some demos running on Vulkan API.

Official Vulkan programming book is on it's way to customers:

If you're a graphics programmer it should be a good purchase:)

Hrm, quite a while ago already. AMD clearly said that Mantle is replaced with Vulkan.
