ReynardFox: https://www.pcgamer.com/gog-galaxy-is-letting-testers-buy-epic-exclusives-directly-from-the-app/

"Until now, the GOG Galaxy store tab has only included GOG's catalogue of games, but testers will now see hand-picked Epic Game Store exclusives as well, including The Outer Worlds, Mortal Shell, Maneater and MechWarrior 5."

Beginning of the end.

EnforcerSunWoo: How come everybody keeps missing the "hand-picked Epic Game Store exclusives" part of that statement?
Tbf, this new trailer for MechWarrior 5 shows the GOG logo at the end. However, I wouldn't be surprised if this was for the Epic through Galaxy version.

And that's the thing: how will these and future games will be marketed? Is the GOG symbol truly a GOG version or a fake one?

DOOMGUY69: From what I can tell by looking into the game, It seems highly unlikely for the game to come to GOG considering it's F2P with lootboxes and as far as I know the only game on GOG with anything like that is Gwent. It certainly doesn't appear to be a game that could
Yeah. I could understand that an d kind of what I thought. Been playin it on mobile but the controls bug me at times. I plan on playing till the free parts of it get underwhelming but so far it's a lot of fun! Im not a micro transaction or loot box user cuz I don't like games doing that but also lack of disposable cash for such expenditures. Hard enough finding the cash to buy games regularly.
Thanks anyways for confirming.

I don't think it'll just be Epic through Galaxy; I think GOG still makes more money releasing games here than getting a sliver off Epic keys bought through Galaxy.

Could it be that any Epic game sold through Galaxy has to be made available on GOG eventually?

I really doubt it (GOG has little leverage to ask for that), but I'm (pretty darn) sure GOG is still trying to bring highly-desired post-exclusive titles here ($$$). Some developers or publishers may not want GOG releases for whatever reasons, though, and if that's the case there's nothing GOG can do.
Outer Worlds is here.

Huge thumbs up!

Now to keep fingers crossed for Mechwarrior 5 too ;) When does that one release (I'm hopeful Outer Worlds shows up pretty soon when the Epic deal ends in a couple few days).
Wildermyth might be coming some day to GOG.
Note that they *when* we're on GoG and not *if*
At least, that's enough to keep my hopes...

Nightdive's Stephen Kick hinting at a re-release of something, sharing a screenshot of a YouTube comment that says "I played this back in 2000 and was blown away. This game [deserves] Nightdive treatment."

"Sorry you had to wait 3 years, but you're gonna have to wait a few more weeks Mr. Pinstripe." - Kick. (He also mentioned it's NOT NOLF)

somebody else suggested Heavy Metal FAKK2 and that's kinda what I'm thinking too, especially since ND created the updated SiN.

Not being NOLF, while kind of expected, it's still sad.

However, if it's Heavy Metal FAKK2, that would be awesome.
Unfortunately "Shadow Man" falls into the time slot and we already now it is being remade by them. :(

If you want to see it here you might create a separate thread for this (and might post in here), and create a post on the GOG subreddit.
just a follow-up tweet to the above: https://twitter.com/pripyatbeast/status/1329634152002449408

"We're working with Throwback on something cool, stay tuned "

the original tweets were asking about Powerslave non-PC versions being ported to PC but I think this is different. Maybe Turok 3 to PC? (or other Turok games already on PC) We already know the Shadowman remake is coming so this seems to be a different game.

Nope, I think they are working on a console port of "Exhumed" for the PC.

Would be VERY nice indeed. The PC version is nice/different, but the console version would be even better. It is kind of a Metrovania-inspired game on consoles... :)
